No one can ever deny this woman's ear and intuitive style and the education that goes into everything she's ever trained her voice to be. She really came back night two with her mental notes and slayed even harder than night one which was incredible already. She's a pro.

I haven't heard that clarity in her high belts in a decade. Her agility is back to what it used to be too. Her vocal chords don't sound as thick and swollen as they had been for a long time. Incredible! I think she's been doing some work on her voice. That or the pandemic allowed her to really rest her voice.

You cannot access the whistle register by just singing higher, it not something you can scale into. Its a whole other register. You have to switch into it like you would switch from your chest to your head

this is why she should always be singing, always performing live because the more she uses her pipes the stronger and more powerful her voice becomes. Those who keep saying she strains her voice clearly don't know texture, power, rasp, resonance, growls and other techniques Xtina uses which makes her such a unique and skilled vocalist--she wouldn't be able to do her residency or perform an entire set of her very difficult songs now at 40 if she was straining all these years. Sorry to compare, but unlike Mariah, Christina's voice is even stronger and more powerful now. The difficulty of Xtina's songs is the reason why when others sing her songs, it always pales in comparison to the original. SUPERBOWL HALFTIME NEXT!!!

well xtina does strain and does not resonance however it’s not as bad as the previous years. not to mention, her voice definitely held up better than mariah’s!
You can tell she has alot of strain but she does it in a way that doesn’t cause permanent damage. She goes in and out of it alot as well as her registers probably to avoid losing her voice and has learned how far she can push it.
@@allthingspage1498 she strains when her throat is tight and she's nervous. but when she's comfortable and her voice is properly warmed up its more of her rasp technique which a lot of people confuse as straining. Her voice has matured and she likes singing with the rasp like a lot of rock singers do. During her stripped era, her rasp was more forced but now its become more "natural"
