The Jeep Forward Control is a Jeep truck that was produced by Willys Motors. The layout featured a cab over/in front of the axel (forward control) design. Manufactured with a Super Hurricane motor and keep all original. Bought from original owner from a Ranch in Oregon.
The FC is one of my many dream cars. Thanks for the wheeling footage. Not much footage out there

As a child I rode in one that my father owned. It was bumpy, loud and hot as he'll in the summer but was great in the winter and never got stuck.
You pretty much summed up riding in an FC. I definitely prefer driving it in the winter.
FC stands for forward control not forward cab, it says it on the cab emblem!

odd how the GVWR is so high on it and the load capacity is equal to its own weight with those axle it has lol and drum brakes hah. they had duelly versions too
I haven't seen thjose tires since I left Canada 54 years ago. In my day they were either Firestone or BFG " Mud And Snow " tires !
Dad bought a brand new one in '63 with a snowplow.
What I remember most was he was taking it to show my uncle and the cop pulled him over for having a red revolving light on the roof instead of yellow.
Brand new, first trip and got pinched by the fuzz 🎉

I had a FC150 back in the early 80's. Same color. It had the factory bed rack. Very worn steering, and the trans linkage would often bind where it would get stuck in 2 gears at a light, and I would need to get out in traffic, and give the linkage a kick. Was not my daily driver. I like the oddball vehicles, but can't keep them all. One like yours I would have kept. Very nice.
I had that happen as well. 😆 🤣 it's fixed now.
So much weight on the front axle, and sitting in front of it gave my FC150 such a weird driving experience. Imagine taking a test drive on a new one. You had to like different!@@therealjeepguy

Very handy we have used it to move a lot of stuff around in the bed.
I've never heard of it called a forward cab, only forward control.
You are correct. It means "Forward Control." I get nervous while being filmed and sometimes stumble for the right words. The worst part is that it says Forward Control right in front of me, and I still said the wrong thing. 😔 we didn't realize until editing the video.
@@therealjeepguy super understandable, getting comfortable with a camera isn't always easy, and memorizing scripts or getting that prompter right isn't always easy either! Great video, lots of reaally interesting stuff on an FC. I just wondered if they were called cab forwards and i wasn't aware:) I'm looking forward to the shorty FC you mentioned. cheers

I get it. For part of my job I give brewery tours and even though I have done thousands over the last 25 years sometimes I still stumble over my words. Very cool video - thanks! @@therealjeepguy
