I had a few of the original v2 and they were okay, I've never seen a v3 work and now I don't see anyone them that work they are the worst. You're better off building one yourself out of a breadboard
I have the V2 v1.42 versions out lasting Leviathan's (mechanical version). Them V3 and V2 1.9 blue boards are rubbish and believe they have been made for a drop in for a factory design replica. I know the 1.42 mechanical and 1.7 optical work well. You just have to take extra care over most FCU's on the install as youd expect for the price. But both run reliable and trustworthy when installed correctly
I am currently using a T238 v1.42 for version 2 gearbox. Not the best but works fine. The programmes are okay and usable such as binary trigger and battery protection except the precocking function. T238s are designed to fit JingMing and LDT? gearboxes so they will need modifications to fit. I can't put it in a Marui one but barely fits in a Cyma one.

I have installed 4 of these. Three V3s and one V2. All optical, all still working with folks that use them hard every weekend, but the quality is really hit and miss. I'd dodge anything not optical from them. If I want to be sure, I go with Perun or Gate and in some cases with Jefftron.
eh gotta disagree with you on this one. T238 has been well to me the past year and half messing around with them. of the dozen i have had, v2 and v3 variants, only one was a lemon and it was the v2 1.9 version. in my opinion theyre cheap and get the job done and i like them.
@@mpoT3CHY Not really, there's no calibration to do on these, no set up... You screw in a single screw & that's it. The fact they don't fit most V3 cases without modification to said case is the first point of annoyance, but the fact this one was over heating & burst firing - Only the unit to blame there.

Yeah... I am going to stick with my Gate Nano ASR, which is an "inline" model. I have three, the oldest of which is going on 5 years old, and zero issues. Mind you, this is the most basic of mosfets - really just a power regulator. But for around $25.00usd/€23.00, it is a great value, in my less than humble opinion.
Why they send you the trash versions expecting anything other than a trash review! lol. The 1.7 optical for v2, and the v1.1 optical for v3, or their bluetooth versions are the only ones they should send you, as they are good for the price, but really they are aimed at gel blaster users. Friend and I have had a good run with the full optical versions, but you still have to do extra things, like put electrical tape between the circuit board and the gearbox shell, as their conformal coating is China as fuck.
it is cheap as dirt (1/3 of the competitor's price), work as good, and they will sent replacement immediately once it is found that the unit was defect without asking for return. i've experienced 3 unit from them, one of it was defect on pre-cocking function (other function are flawless). i sent them the video, and they immediately sent back the replacement after I paid $5 shipping fee, simple as it is. What else do you expect?

Ok so the mosfets suck, have you had a play about with the BL-480 motor they do? They look comparible to the Warhead motors. Wondering if it's worth a punt
Not yet, but even being told by T238 that they have terrible customer service on their Ali store & they'll arrange new replacements for the multiple etus that they've supplied non functional & then going silent, I'd rather suck off my fathers corpse in front of his family before spending money on their trash.

Personally love their active brake mosfet, cheap simple, and reliable without all those fancy features, still, the V2 spec one is better than the in-line version which I got some lemons, but the V2 spec one never fails in my hands (well there was once but I know it was because I shorted it stupidly)

I have been looking at the 1.42 and have been told to avoid the optical. 9 months later, you still feel the same way about the 1.42?
I've seen these have crimped or poorly soldered wire connections. Remove any heat shrink and check for good connections.

Ive the 1.42 version. It is reliable. With only 1/4 price of west made mofset, you can yolo on it.

I have T238 V3 1.1 and it's a good optical mosfet for the price. My only compaint is battery drain, but AFAIK it's common issue for optical mosfets.

Are the Perun v3 hybrids bad?
He swears by the V2s but I can't remember what he said about the V3s I think he likes them but they aren't quite what he's looking for
