Trivia bit about pink lipstick! On a Columbia House Flintstones VHS series I was collecting for a while on one of the boxes it mentioned that by season 2-3 Betty and Wilma's lipstick colors had changed from red to pink in "keeping with the times"! Also one of the outfits you were thumbing through - in particular the navy bubble skirt was what one of the first replicas of the original Barbie was outfitted in, but it was an expensive porcelain doll that came out some years before the Mattel anniversary re-releases in the 90s!

I don't know about in the US but those trolls used to be called gonks in the seventies (of course I am quite a bit older than you so probably remember better). I wish we had doll shows like that here. We don't have half the stuff you have. I think there may be a Daiso at the Japan Centre, or at least at one of them in this area but it looks like it concentrates on foodstuffs rather than all the brilliant small scale stuff you keep finding!
