Recruitment was definitely all over the place but I couldn’t be happier I decided to go through with it.
I hope this video helps anyone planning to rush! DO IT!! It’s so worth it.

I just happened to randomly see this and I am a Sigma Kappa too, but from a different era and different university. Watching this I was reminded of my own rush experience and when you said you had one house at the end that you LOVED, and the other you liked, that is exactly what I felt too when I prefed. My 2nd choice house was across the street from SK, and I think it would have slowly killed me to have been in that house, knowing that I loved the house across the street and would have seen it every day, being sad I was not in it. and yes it is for life! I pledged 49 years ago, and to this day have a lot of BFFs from my time in SK. It was really the best part of college.

Interesting to see how important sororities are again - when I went to UCB in the 80s they were banned.
How interesting, I’d love to learn more on the history of that! I’ve had such a wonderful experience in my sorority so far, I can’t imagine not having the community they have provided me with :)
