What a fabulous and helpful video! Thanks for going through all the trouble to make it! You'd think Brinsea would do one - especially since they are not inexpensive! Thanks, again! Hatching some English Orpingtons that cost a fortune...hope I don't mess them up, LOLOL!!
yeah I agree, but they just think that there paper instructions are adequate and I don't think they are over easy to understand, also it is out dated and a how to set up video would be cheaper in the long run. also more helpful.
thank you for your comments, I am happy if it helps, its all about learning as I am too, I hope you watched the results on my channel its so satisfying to Gert success.
Very helpful! I got one of these and had the water tubing inside but I didnt realise/think about stretching it so that both the black parts can fit into the slots. I also find it interesting you make sure it turns the eggs 360 degrees, when I had a quick internet search it appears that just the rotating 45 degrees one direction then the other is adequate?
thanks for your comments, I think its trial and error, I watched my goose turning her eggs, she did rotate them 360, but I didn't watch again, I think as long as they get turned 45 or 360 I'm sure its fine.
hi thanks for the question. it is automatic humidity, so it best to have the bottle and tube, as the times I have used the incubator, it has been accurate, just set the humidity % to the desired level. otherwise spend less money to by the non automatic pump, but you will spend more time checking the humidity and water level
Hi Laura, thank you for the question. Yes the pipe needs to be in the water, so the incubator can suck up the water as it needs it to create humidity. I hope this answer clarifies your question :-)
No it doesn’t, the next model up will, but I didn’t feel the extra cost justified it. I just set up all the task and dates on my phone reminder. Thank you for the question

Great video. I’ve just bought this machine for my first attempt at hatching eggs and it answered a few things I wasn’t sure about. So thanks.

Great video. Do you only need to attach the long tube to a bottle if you don’t keep an eye on the water level ? :-)

does the pipe not need to be in the water?is just sitting in the bottle ok like you showed. tia
