Because of the close-ups on the well-fed beaks and the delight of thinking about them getting to dine in gardens, my face is hurting from smiling too hard. Thank you for the looks at the crests and the estimates of their ages. Are the two gang-gangs who were feeding from your hand a future pair, do you think?
The two on my hand are most likely a bonded pair, although the 'maturity' of the female's crest suggests a teenage female who won't be breeding yet. (And by now, the breeding pairs are taking alternating turns to incubate the eggs, and thus it would be rare to see a breeding couple together for feeding/foraging). In my experience, non-bonded males and females will frequently try to bully members of the opposite sex, including competing/bullying against eachother to sit on my hand.
