Big companies, for the family benefits. As a woman, in my last move, I had to take fertility coverage into consideration. Most companies don't offer this benefit, but it's becoming more and more important as people are having babies later in life. Benefits are really, really important.
Great overview! I chose the entrepreneurial route, and I love it! We’ve grown significantly in the last year, and I’ve been exposed to multiple facets of cre as a result. I highly recommend this option, but it’s important that the owner is someone you can learn a lot from.
Thanks again for another fantastic video, Stumbling onto your channel a year ago has done wonders for my understanding of what goes on within the CRE industry. Keep up the great work!
Awesome vid - I started out at MM just like everybody it seems. I learned a ton, but once I had some more knowledge and experience under my belt, I decided to go boutique for the better splits, and to learn more of the hands-on contract stuff, etc.
Do you think working at a property trust or reit like Starwood for example is a good start for someone looking to becoming a principal/owner in the future?
This video was super helpful thank you! I’m currently in the process of making this decision. I’m new to real estate and starting my career as a real estate agent, i have 2 offers one from a large firm and one from a boutique one and I’m literally so confused about which option to go for, especially since it’s a 100% commission role I want to make sure I’m making money asap! Any help is honestly so appreciated at this point. Keep up the great video content your a natural!
Are you targeting big or small companies in your job search?
Hey Justin, can you do a video on that insurance companies that have Real Estate divisions? (Comp, exit opps etc.)
Small and Lean, I like to see the bigger picture!
