Good to see you Douggie! As for junk food if that's your weakness, just make it clear to everyone not to bring it to the house, don't buy it either! If it's not in the house, you can't eat it. I'm glad you're getting support from the lady at the gym :).
I don’t live in the best environment.. regardless junk is brought in here, I just have to deal with it.. I’m just glad to be back on here and talking to my people again
Yaayyyy 2 new shirts!!! Amazing!🎉 Glad to see you again. Let me tell you: even when things aren't going that well at the moment, you're still being way stronger than i am. I've been making excuses over excuses for not hitting the gym and not eating healthy. First it was the break up from my 10 year relationship with the man i thought was the one, now it's the moving out of the apartment and starting all over, all while ordering takeout this whole time. It's been months with declining health and guilt, but you know what? You're inspiring me. It's 01:22 at night right now where i live, but as soon as the gym opens, imma head there in a couple of hours. No more excuses, no more feeling pity for myself. Let's do this 💪
Hey Dough, I'm glad to see you are back! The ebs and flows of consistency are a normal human experience. Staying on track during the holidays is really hard and can be very isolating, so don't beat yourself up. My guess is that you fell into the same trap i used to fall where if I ate one bad thing, I felt so guilty that I ruined my streak that I "punished" myself by eating even more bad stuff. I was like "well now it's already ruined". But that's actually not true. One bad thing alone is not the end of the world so just let it end there. As for being single around holidays I can agree that it creates sadness. But I've noticed that friends can also play the part of a family, it is just a found family instead of a birthed one. So try to meet with friends during those times and enjoy their company. I'm glad to hear that you are taking care of all aspects of yourself and I am amazed by your courage and resiliense! I am SO proud of you! Strength doesn't mean staying on track at all times, it means being able to pick yourself up after falling, over and over. And you my friend, are an inspiration. Keep up the good work!
Hi Doug. Hope you are doing well. December is never an easy month. I gained almost 30 pounds in December. Just insane. So how long have you been on wegovy. Do you feel any different? You are not alone!
I feel your pain! I’ve been on wegovy bout 4 months now… it’s made a huge difference as far as food noise and appetite but it certainly doesn’t fix emotional eating and addiction, and the side effects have been pretty crazy at times.. mainly when they up the dosages but they subside after a few weeks
