Welcome back to our new video. We really happy for everyone who decides to come back to watch our new videos🥰 Today we bought a new mattress for our bed since the old one was already really used. Thanks to all our subscribers and supporters who make our dreams come true!✨
Unfortunately we found out that the slatted frame of our bed was already spoiling. After one month of having it!!! So we couldn’t finish the bed the way we wanted, but we gonna find a solution soon💯

Let the wood support pacers dry out in the sun and then coat it with a wood sealant. Don't use the solid wood sheet as you need air to pass under the mattras.
Hope it all works out. I think the wood used to make the support beams had a lot of moisture in it and just needs to dry thoroughly, use a sealant to coat the wood and then a nice white coating of paint that will withstand fungus and yu are good to go!

Regarding your bed, the wood has fungus as a result of continued exposure to moisture. I would suggest going back to the store to possibly have the owner to give you an exchange. Next time closely examine your purchase. (The wood may have been exposed to the elements even before the bed was built.)
Just a pointer when purchasing a mattress, test for comfort by lying on it. Some mattresses are firm and hard or soft. You will only know which you prefer by lying on it…..I realize you couldn’t test it because of the limited space in the store.

Congratulations on your new bed. I suggest a new bottom. There is too much fungus to cure. It will also cause lung infection and sinus infections. Severe allergies too. Throw tat wood far from your home. Do not keep it around. Your can get a new one and use wood sealant the color of the bed. Clean the bed and floor before putting the new mattress. Good luck. Just a little hitch in your plan, happened to us as well over time the wood needed to be changed and added some slats. I'm happy your mattress was one hundred dollars because the one my wife had us get from Italy cost us thousands of dollars.. some gel thing!! 🙄 I said we lost our minds spending this kind of money but it is the best thing we ever have slept on. Things in Montreal can be rather expensive but you can find more reasonable prices. Hope you guys have some wood working men who can build you a new base with proper wood. FOREVER , VINN & LENA

Guys get the bottom bed wood furnished with SOLIGNUM paint and make sure you regularly open your door and windows for ventilation as your flat is accumulating alot of HUMID Consequently, mould growing on the wood of the bed.😊👍

I know some people are saying to clean the wood with chlorine, but perhaps it's best just to get the support bars remade to be certain the mold doesn't transfer to your new mattress or elsewhere. The wood was probably "green lumber" which means it was not dried correctly. It's a good idea to stain the support bars similar to the rest of the bed to protect the wood.

Glad someone supported you on getting a new mattress. Let the boards dry out in the sun. Sand the boards where it looks bad (looks like mold / mildew) and paint them with a paint that seals the wood. Let the paint sealent dry real well and hopefully that will do the trick. I do not know if you can find a sealent in a spray can but you could check. Good luck, whatever you decide.

The mould on the wood is caused from the old foam mattress. Rub the wood with vinegar to get rid of the mould.

Awwwwwwe so sorry about the delay in getting mattress on bed but as Lenni says it’s good to discover that because that mildew/ mold can cause bad allergies!

Go tell the guys you bought bed from what happen - perhaps they can provide a new plank- if so seal the wood with wood sealer to keep moisture from running it again!

You need to TURN your mattress each time you are changing your bedding. Like this there would be less humidity and each time you can check what’s going on with the wood under … 😝

You don't need the plywood on top. Let the cross wood dry, wash it well with chlorine (or something else that kills mold) and then paint it. Sorry about your bed, but glad you found out about the mold before you got sick.

Scrub the mold with javex dry it for a day then stand up your mattress for afew hrs a day to keep the wood from the humid air causing moisture
