Amazing content again by Literacy Corner! Philippine Air Force should get the F-16 Viper to become its first ever MRF. Even if it's more expensive than Gripen C/D, it's more advanced, more capable, more advantages and more users which means more support packages, spares, longer and decades of life expectancy. Also, if war erupts in the region the US government could provide more F-16s as military aid and our pilots are already familiar to operate it. You can't say the same to Sweden with their Gripens.

PAF already said they are only looking at F16 C/D Block 50-52 due to budget constraints. Mas advance ang Gripen C/D+ actually.

Di ba sila ginamit sa Afghan and Iraq as part of NATO force? But in most military excercises , they beat Sukhoi 27 derived fighters. Alam ko nagka mock Air to Air Gripen ng Thailand and Su30 ng Malaysia and talo ang mga Sukhoi. Alternative kung may budget constraints, get additional 12 FA-50PH (latest block with AMRAAM capabilities) then wait for Korea's KF-21 as a long term MRF option.

Tama na cguro ang f50 tamang tama sa budget sa afp modernization....hindi tayo mangarap ng hindi natin kaya....you are sacrificing our basic services..maraming tayong problema...we need more funds to improve the quality of life of our countrymen and our economy...once our country improved that is the time we will upgrade our afp with modern military hardware...
