- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new around the house happenings style of video! Where I take you along through a day in the life ditl and get some stuff done around the house! getting stuff done lol seo is so fun. I got some cleaning done, clean with me, I got some cooking done, cook with me, and of course laundry, tried a new amazing brownie recipe! I kind of adapted it and it was AWESOME!! oh yeah we had a little BBQ i forgot about that! haha tried a viral pancake recipe and made some sourdough! It was a good day! Where are the spoons? My baby is 25 now. We have four kids. We started redoing our gardens, and where did I find all the spoons in the garden along with 100s of marbles and match box cars and one lost barbie. Brought back so many memories. Love your videos.❤

The scrambled pancake is called Kaiserschmarrn here in germany/austria and taste delicious. It's a thick pancake which is scrambled after it got a bit colour. Some add browned butter. But I love it with just powder sugar

Look into what you are feeding the chickens try a feed from a more local farmer rather than a national company and more kitchen scraps.
The scrambled pancakes are what we Austrians call ‚Kaiserschmarrn‘ or ‚emperor‘s mess‘. It has been a staple in Austrian kitchens for hundreds of years.
It's funny the kids gets one thing at a time just like my kids did out of the dishwasher 😄

The mashed pancakes are called „Kaiserschmarrn“ in Germany and Austria. Some have it for Lunch but it is also a dessert.

I’m reminiscing! In 1987 when I married and went to fill my registry at the local department store, I discovered dish patterns to be in the hundreds of dollars for just one place setting. Then I spied the “Heartland by International” pattern that is same as the cheese cutting plate Kim showed here. Farmer and wife and all farm animals, this was so ME and so I acquired most everything they had: Dishes, platters, potato bin, etc. is so cute and now considered “Vintage”. O Mi ❤️!

If you like the scrambled pancakes, maybe you should look up "Kaiserschmarren" it's an Austrian dessert very similar to your pancakes and easy to make. By the way, the scrambled pancakes will taste even better with a fruit compote, fruit sauce or apple sauce!

Chickens lay for 10 months, stop, go thru a moult, then start up again after their moult. Their eggs will be larger too, when they start laying again.

Ty for keeping me motivated to stay busy! About the chickens, we figured out that 1 of our hens was eating her eggs + another hens, & sharing it w/1 of the roosters! We figured it out bc they make unique sounds when they're laying an egg. Look for signs of broken egg shells, or maybe eggs laid somewhere randomly. I read online that it won't harm them to eat their own eggs, especially the shells. Still, I think it's weird, & I'd rather not have a chicken just recycling food & eggs... Maybe it's the heat? Hope they start laying again soon, & you can figure out what's going on
When you are having surprise guests over and your first reaction is not panic cleaning the whole house, you have your life together! I am jealous! I would have a panic attack and refuse hosting. 😂🙈🙊

Your dessert looks so good. I'm a sucker for anything chocolate peanut butter, especially Reese's. That's my favorite candy.
First, I tried boiled peanuts and I can't take the texture. I moved to Georgia 15 years ago and it's still the texture 😅 second, we lose forks( kids put them in the Trash) third, Halloween and fall things are out. School is already out and picked over GA goes back the first week of August, and teachers we will start in a couple if weeks.
@thewads You made Kaiserschmarrn Classic south German-Austrian pancake thing! Means something like "kaisers mess" -- story is a chef messed up the Imperial pancakes and the emperor loved it anyway.
I can SO relate to the spoons! I was constantly buying cheap spoons because I'm convinced my kids threw them away with their paper plates. My kids are now 38 and 32.

I really don’t think kids forget what they learned barely three months ago. Kids spend months in school. They need time to just be kids without worrying about school imo. As long as kids are active during the summer and not on devices they still learn plenty.
During the summer, just let then be kids. When I was in school we didn't do anything extra and I loved it. I hate how people think they still need to make sure kids learn during the summer, reading, math, etc. Summer break should be summer break. If they want to read, sure, but don't make them. It won't put them behind and they wont feel behind or need to catch up. Alot of teachers feel the same and most of the time the first two week of school is easy so that kids can get used to it.
Honestly, I've had people say that they're afraid to touch anything in my house because i have ocd and keep it a certain way. I've learned to stage a small new before i have guests over. 😅😅😅
I just looked it up, chickens can eat bell peppers. Just not the stems, leaves or flowers, they're toxic.

Your chickens are probably pretty so you're going to want to get like a dog kennel to put them in for a day or two of course you going to want to put food and water in there too obviously I know you're not inhuman by any means but one chicken stop laying it's normally because they're Broody so I would just put them in chicken gel for a day or two and then it should take care of it they should go right back to laying their eggs or they're missing a vitamin so you might want to save some egg shells clean them before you save them then once they're dry grind them up and your food processor and you can feed them back to the chickens
