Love it, I loved raving back late 80s for me, I'm 50 this year but hung out with people 10 years older than me, took my first E when I was 14, and the most of ever took were 12, after a party, fucked ain't the word!! Buzzing, and dancing for over 24 hours, so listing to tunes just brings back the best memories 🎉

One time I remember Pez Candy dispensers being passed around... I am pretty sure it was X... Energy 1989 (or the one with the funfair)....about 5am. Someone lets a football loose in the field in the back of the manor. All of a sudden you have 50 a side with no discernible goalposts, just a bunch of looneys chasing a ball with no skill value whatsoever. You had to see it to see it to believe it. I should know...i was in the middle of it. The beauty of it all was that everyone involved knew they were too wasted to play and coordination was at a minimum but play they did and it's still funny to me to this day. Bloody loving this! I'm now in my 50s and this is still the best sort of dance music 20-30 odd years on! There is absolutely nothing that touches this these days (with the notable exception of Underworld) Some really good mixing in here and a nice flow to the grooves - great work!
87-90 Never bettered: the summers of love! Just so thankful to have been there and at the right age! It can never be recaptured but at least I can reminisce on YT! A big smiley (remember them!) to everyone who was there and for when people, truly, were together!
Times when there was no smartphones, ridiculous amount of pouting for selfies, posing, dressing up to be seen.. 95% of ravers were in simple jeans and trainers (yes girls too), dancing all night facing dj, enjoying tunes, good company. .. after raves came some good clubs and then they started closing them down which was end of an era... Deffo a good decade music wise!! Also socially. Everyone was simply happy..

Loved this set like so many others have said it evokes so many happy memories. I was 12 in ‘89 and I had all my sisters rave tunes and mix tapes me and my mates used to hang out around our areas local park and get off our faces on acid and home grown weed . Magical years I had through the following ‘90 s all the music and culture was so much more underground than today’s efforts . What made it more special I guess was the feeling of being part of something special happening all good feels no hassles , love me a piano tune I’ll always remember being out my face listening to jimi polo better days

Although I wasn't even born, I just absolutely love this music. And this mix is just pure awesomeness. It keeps my happy and motivated while studying for my upcoming exams :).
This is the closest I'll ever get to hearing some of the tracks that pirate radio stations in London used to broadcast in the early 85-90 period. I was surprised to even hear some of the tracks YOU have here but there are others I will never hear again as I never knew their track names.

Loved this set like so many others have said it evokes so many happy memories. I was 12 in ‘89 and I had all my sisters rave tunes and mix tapes me and my mates used to hang out around our areas local park and get off our faces on acid and home grown weed . Magical years I had through the following ‘90 s all the music and culture was so much more underground than today’s efforts . What made it more special I guess was the feeling of being part of something special happening all good feels no hassles , love me a piano tune I’ll always remember being out my face listening to jimi polo better days

This is the closest I'll ever get to hearing some of the tracks that pirate radio stations in London used to broadcast in the early 85-90 period.
I was surprised to even hear some of the tracks YOU have here but there are others I will never hear again as I never knew their track names.
