I've been using this same technique for my buns since you put this video out in 2013. I remember I was so excited when I saw this video because I had just realized I had enough hair for a bun. Thank you for putting good content for all these years.
People trip over baby hairs and edges being brushed out, saying you're too old to do that. Yet look at how beautiful it looks on Vaughn. She brushed them out gently, and they prevent her hair from looking tightly pulled back. Sometimes, the brushed out edges/baby hairs frame the face nicely in a way that compliments your face. It's all about how you do it. Great tutorial, Vaughn!

Thanks for this tutorial, I have been trying to figure out how to pin my bun for a minute! This will be a go to style for me during the winter, now that wash and go's aren't necessarily the best during winter.

Cute! Very nice! My hair is relaxed but I still feel inspired to try your top knot. I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I'm a school bus driver. Even though I am not driving summer school, I need cool, cute, creative, good looking ways to wear my hair up. It is so humid down here more months then I feel like being borthed with. To me, Just because it's humid, that's no excus to not still have your (my) hair together. Besides in the grand sceem of things I get bored with my hair and cutting is not an option at this time.
