Love Burgmuller. Can I just say, your course book is brilliant! I bought the spiral bound set of three levels and while I had lessons for a long time, I'm now going it alone and the books are helping consolidate and learn techniques we never really covered much - pedalling for one. I found the pedalling lesson really easy to get the hang of, and it's really helpful.
I’m learning this piece now, but I have a problem that I’m not sure if there are any piano students experience the same problem as me, my finger nails are longer than the flesh on the tip even I have cut it as short as possible, result to the sixteenth notes in the left hand part, I couldn’t really curve my fingers as much and it looked flat. Do you have any recommend what I should do? Thanks 🙏
I've played this arabesque with different notes and I'm wondering why there is a finger change in bars 7 and 8. 3, then 2, I learned 3 and 3 again... Are there any exercises to make the semiquavers more evenly and steadily?
