i live in spain and am thankful for quick posts of races......i really wish i could watch full races live, but as of yet haven't found a way of doing so.......i am starting to prefer Supercars to F1...mmmmm.....i am a kiwi too
They tried that and people complained they had to wait too long for anything and that they'd rather have a short highlights package early than have to wait so long for extended highlights. Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't.
Thank you for putting this up on TH-cam so soon! Unfortunately I don't have the coin for a KAYO membership so I really appreciate being able to keep up with my favourite motorsport when I can!
I always wonder how a DTM or WEC driver would do in this series. It's so full of door bashing and side by side action. Hands down the best racing series to ever exist
The quality of the drivers in both DTM and WEC is undoubted. Many of them have come from elbows out series and are no strangers to a bit of bump and run. My take is they would do just fine.
@@paulreilly3904 just thinking in terms of no TC and the sequential box compared to their fancy electronics and paddle shift boxes. Would be exciting to see a Aussia V8 supercars vs the world series!
@@CrashBandiii kevin estre drove as a co driver last year and was alright but wouldn't have troubled the top 10. I think if you give the top guys from wec a couple of seasons they could be decent. matt cambell probably is the best measuring stick for this
I thought there was some excellent driving out there, better than F1 anyway. Some good passes as well, nice to see the highlights package has no crashes and it looks like the race was all green.
Congrats to Brown. And thanks for the season of good. I can guarantee the series won't stay the same the next season after introducing the own version of the playoffs that will come soon.
So frustrating that Frosty got turned around by a car running 5 laps behind… Not sure why Cooper Murray was battling him so hard at that point. It ruined Frosty’s progress, and the race only went further downhill for Cooper after that.

@@gerardcrabb4556in the world.. Yeah, you're right, 6 years running I think. But in Australia, no. The best selling sport car in Australia for 2023 was the Subaru BRZ and the best consecutively sold here was the Holden Monaro for 5 years starting 2002. The Monaro body was actually Australian and exported overseas, first selling as the pontiac gto in the US in 2004, and I think it was called the opal omega in Europe. Had it been branded as a chev and used it to replace the camaro that they stopped in '03, things would probably be different now, instead pontiac replaced their firebird with it, then also imported our VEs to sell them as G8s a year or so before going bankrupt. Holden loses that export market at the same time a financial crisis is happening and Australian sales decline, then we all know what happened after that.. Point being, this was the beginning of the end and it hasn't been the same since.
I disagree previous champions like Scotty Mac, SVG & Jdub won plenty of races and poles, Will didn't even clean sweep a race weekend. He's had plenty of podiums but no standout moments.
Bit of a predictable snooze fest. Too much driving by the numbers and not enough aggressive driving. Not enough reward for dare, I guess. Doesn't help when the factory GM team also governs the sport at a technical level.
Shout out to the TV director for missing the critical overtake.
My advice would be to Supercars to drop the crappy sub 2-minute recap video, completely pointless, just go with this extended highlight package.
I agree
I agree but they won’t change
Put one out quickly for those who just want to see the result and the extended comes later. Seems fine to me. One more video to get views on

That was some seriously good racing
Congrats to Will, the last real champion Supercars will have.

He received a concussion during qualifying. And LeBrocq isn't here as well as he has now become a dad, congrats to him.
