That is an awesome first time rally to go to! When I lived in the Branson Missouri area, I used to go to motorcycle rallies all the time as a knife vendor. Awesome experiences and memories. Enjoy!
Glad you can relax & enjoy the process of fishing. I always did years ago. I could sit for hours but it is more fun if they bite. Enjoy time with David also. You always take goodies & others enjoy it! Sometimes you just need to change the depth you set your bobber. Yours looks like it was set pretty shallow. They might be hanging out deeper in the lake.

I’m so bummed that I didn’t see this until now!!!! My kids are bartenders in downtown Rogers. Ya coulda stopped in at Club Frisco and said hey guys your mom sent us! A free drink and great hometown clientele!! Also the fishing looks relaxing. Are you aware that not too far from you is a fish hatchery that y’all can take a tour? My uncle took me there when we were visiting them down there in Searcy. Another thing! Y’all should come back up here some time and tour the museums here in Bentonville! They are free to visit. There’s the kids museum and another for the parents. Free entertainment except for the gas to get here and a hotel if you decide to stay overnight. And all could be considered an outing/ field trip for the home schooling. Hope you are all able to take the trip sometime soon.
I miss fishing. We fished almost daily in Michigan. We had a 30' deep huge pond we filled w black crappie & base. Catch and release. But we fished Saginaw Bay year round for perch, walleye. Up by Alpena for Salmon. Sucker fishing in Omer. 13 years since ive fished Arizona have to drive to far away. ❤

My oldest brother lives in Arkansas, on Lake Dardenelle. He enjoys “making fish late for something”. 😂 He does keep enough catfish for a fish fry a few time each year.
hi there crc. when i was younger (from when i was young enough to hold a fishing rod to around 18 year) then i was out almost every day in the summer fishing. and when i was angling then i used 2 types off bait, 1 one was worm and the 2 one was a bait that i made myself. the bait was made of flour and water mixed together in a plastic bag the only hard thing whit that bait was to make it perfect becasue if you have to much flour then it crumbles and fall apart but if you have to little flour then it is just a mess and the water in the lake or were every you are can make the bait to lose so it fell off the hook. i really love being beside a lake/ pond/ and so on at night or early morning when you cant hear anything else but nature. so i get what you like about that place, anyways have a great day and i send you guys positive vibes your way! :)

Fishing is my most favorite thing to do. When you go to the Bike rally in Rogers. Eat at a place called The Rail, they have great pizza
I put water in my overnight oats. Had a babysitter who did not understand to put milk in oats
It doesn’t take long for fish to grow if you stock them pond with whatever kind you like..they’re called fingerlings..
I do my overnight oats with oats, milk, chia seeds, Greek yogurt, & frozen fruit🤤
If you mean crappie, the best bait is live bait. Minnows, worms, and small bugs.
