I really enjoy all the videos. Learned so much about building and other tips such as taming and traps.
I like seeing the building, or sometimes just listening to it, and as Jim's having placement issues or something, I might get reminded of my own issues and the workarounds I came up with or found in other videos that I can then share with him. As well as getting ideas to build something that's not my usual go-to structures.
Kind of a bummer that analytics control what you actually want to do, however I personally enjoy watching the thought cooker juices manifest and come through to completion. That roof design is purely amazing :-) also your the one playing it your way so please keep playing it your way, that's what makes it enjoyable to watch

Personally, I love your building videos. You and the boys always come up with some really interesting stuff and I've had a load of ideas based on the back of what you've built! Anyway... The Ravager's cool and all, but your l'il shinehorn is imo the best tame of the video. Thanks for yet another awesome video, Jim :)

Heya Jim, roll rats do reduce the weight of wood. Even a mid-level roll rat is amazing for wood collection, so you could just steal a baby and not worry about taming one with honey
The roof work on the cliff platform is amazing😮..Jim you are really good at the designing👍
Jim you can just bola the one you want and place a foundation under it and pop together a 1x1 box with a roof around it before the bola times out. Putting the structures in your hot bar will speed up the process.

Not huge on building videos personally, but I enjoy lurking in the building streams XD
I LOVE the building episodes.
I have two comments this time... first one, the industrial grill could be beneficial because cooked lamb chops are significantly better than prime for taming and can stack, and second, if you're planning on doing something very dangerous you can take an army of bears in cryopods... when they pop out with cryosickness they all wake up at the same speed so throwing out 5 at once is alot faster than waiting out the timer 5 times

You might need a cooker for dyes and mushroom brews for your dinos if you ever visit the rad zone/ boss trek if you don't have rad immune dinos. That is way into the future but it never hurts to be prepared. That is a lovely build though. I usually go for boxes as I never seem to have enough resources for elaborate builds (plus XBX isn't great with too many things in the area at once).

Hey Jim not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but be careful dropping berries out of your inventory if you have your bear in a cryo it will drop it out as well! Keep up the content!

Only seen the tour part so far but im amazed at how well it turned out. You killed it. I loved the center base but you out did yourself with this one

We love the shenanigans. Something i learned is that you can put the giant mushroom trees in a pot with the shovel. You could make a bridge over the river with em, or encircle Syntacs new base spot...

Build episodes are fine and i love seeing what you have built. You have taught me some really cool things. Also When you gonna start building the train? I got Megalos and Drakes so maybe i'll start soon. 😄Could breed Ravagers and use them as pack mules. To store plants either make fridges or food troughs. I fill mine with plants and cooked mutton. Jim there is a glass ceiling Variant that would look amazing there. Cooked meat keeps longer, you will also need cooked meat for kibble. 14:02 See that plant species Z right there? If you gather around that you can get Plant Species X seeds. Could build a gated area downstairs to keep pets in and post Plant X to guard it. FYI the White quality treasure maps are crazy good. Kill the trilobotes with the bear :P Complain to Syntac till he installs the no pyromanes mod :P
Syntac found a variant to the normal sloped roof that adds a small circular window. Not sure if you have any of those roof pieces around, but might be nice to check out.
edit: I finished typing this, scroll up and you're walking onto the balcony out of your bedroom and there is a roof with a window in it. So go right ahead and ignore me. lol
That pause and deadpan "you look perfectly normal" to the bear doing weird ark stuff. Got me good. I don't mind the building but should be more cut to cut action rather than watching every step as it becomes too slow and repetitive sometimes.
roll rats get an 80 percent reduction on wood and fungal wood, they are really nice to have for wood gathering

Pyromanes are one of those creatures that should be limited to one map for wild encounters.
as a builder for servers and my own tribe bases. love your ideas and visions of builds. i use little things in mine.
You could go out on a ravenger with your chainsaw. They have good weight

Truth is, keep having fun and we'll keep watching. (nice base, too Love the mad scientist detail on the greenhouse.)
I've been using a lvl 128 spino and wrecking everything in blue zone. Tamed the spino from lvl 71 and it's been worth it's weight in gold.
Who's said we don't like your build video. I love it. Give a Sense on how to build in ark. It's 100% better than Axe.oh yeah Jim why you use glow sticks and painted white instead of a Light pet.this way you have Cosmo as a backpack.❤❤

Hi Jim, im watching all of your ARK series and love it but honestly yes your building videos can be a bit boring but i dont think it is because of the building itself. you loose the focus a lot. this video starts with im building now off cam, lets go ahead with cool stuff.... then the real video starts 9min 45 seconds later. In the last video you talk 10mins about pillars and skin rotation, yes it is bad but dont talk longer than 1 min about that and go ahead with slapping down some structures, that is fun to watch but not 10mins of complaining about bad skins. hopefully you can work with my feedback. thanks for your work overall i love how much effort you put in this series.

I have to say, I’m not much of a fan of the build episodes. I usually skip through them to see if anything interesting happens. The Jimbob antics are just so much more entertaining!
I do like the build videos, but Jim going full Beast Mode is always entertaining.
