Got my Luba 2 just 7 wks ago and have only used it about ten or twelve times but I've got a couple of tips. I e-mailed Mammotion to find out which Turn setting uses the least amount of battery watt/hrs and they replied the "Zero" turn setting uses less power than the multi-point turn setting.
My front lawn is 3750 sq ft (you can chose between metric or imperial readouts) and I run a bit of "overlap" between passes so there are at least 100+ 180 degree turns needed to cut the area. If I use the multi-point turn setting, the Luba 2 will need to recharge before just before finishing. However, if I set it for Zero radius turns, the Luba will finish the area just before it needs charging (my Luba 2 runs for the charger when the Battery hits 13%).
A second tip, if you are in Zero Turn mode, the Luba Will slip downhill some while turning on a slope. If you've got a small "No-Go" area, like a tree or small Flower Bed and you map the outside perimeter at the 6 inch recommended distance from the edge, the Luba will likely slip into that No-Go zone/area if performing a Zero turn on the upper side. I re-mapped my No-Go Zones that were located on a slope to allow for a wider buffer on the higher side which keeps the Luba from slipping into that zone during a Zero turn.
I'm still getting used to the Luba 2, there's some parts of the App that aren't so intuitive but I'm learning.

Unlike the Luba 1, the Luba 2 is not intended to work at night due to it's vision system that the Luba 1 lacks. Awesome review!

correct. But it still works at night even with the vision system turned off lol

@@BreakItYourselfInteresting because I was just watching another review and he said anytime it got dark he would get a message saying it was too dark and it would just die in the middle of his yard

Strange. That never happened to me. I wonder if he was using the RTK. My guess is that if you don’t have the RTK then the robot wouldn’t be able to navigate once it got dark.

@@BreakItYourself The Luba won't function at all without RTK.

That's not true for mine. As I say in the video, after a few runs, I unplugged the RTK and it was fine.

Hi, very helpful review . What do you do to rake the leaves and weeds?

Also, the omni wheels are great. My 3000 has them. It's the reason I bought another.
However, if you have hills like me, it does struggle to zero turn in place when turning towards the slope. Which does dig up some spots and also eventually gums up the rollers. They're is no real easy way to clean them either.
As of now, I haven't seen anything with luba 2 that makes me want to upgrade from the originals. That's the whole reason I'm looking up videos to see if it does anything better than mine.
But if you don't have a luba 1 like me, you pretty much don't have a choice unless you buy used or find someone that's selling them new still. Mammotion does not make them anymore as they are now focused on this version

Can you run this at night. For example midnight? It has night vision or its just that it runs on GPS so it doesnt matter?

Will you be doing a video that includes the steep slopes? It would be great to see that. Thanks

It seems as though Mammotion (the maker of Luba) only gives out their Lubas to reviewers that have flat slopes. I've been watching the Luba since version 1 and I haven't seen a single reviewer with a steep slope, unless they bought it with their own money.

You DO NOT want to mow with this in the rain.
    These aren't that different from the originals, which I own 2, a 3000 and a 5000.
Mowing in the rain makes a caked up mess and your blades will gum up faster than they normally do.
For best results, mow when dry and mow often.

Why did you delete my comments. I came back to make a correction about purchasing Luba 1. They do still sell them. So I was mistaken about that.

I'm guessing you have the comments section set up to only show approved comments. Because I see 7 comments, but only 3 show.
Anyway, you can delete this one since I'm really only communicating with you at this point. But I can't edit my other comment, so you will either have to delete it or approve it so I can edit it.

Are you sure you don’t just have it so you’re only seeing the top comments instead of the newest. I have it set to newest and I can see all 4 of your comments.
