I'm delighted to present Jane and Liam's Gosfield Hall Wedding Video. I always love filming at Gosfield Hall. It’s such a stunning venue and I always take great joy in finding some new interesting shots there. The way the venue sits means the sun streams in from all angles and there are usually lots of well lit rooms and moody shadows to shoot through.
Add to the this incredible bridal suite where Jane was getting ready that morning, along with the library for the reception and grand salon for the service and this was a wedding that was set amongst some stunning back drops.
I started early with Jane that morning, grabbing some shots of the bridal prep and some of the set up at the venue. This is usually one of my favourite parts of the day. I get to wander around, see what’s going on and soak up some of the atmosphere before the guest start to arrive and the nerves increase.
Jane and Liam had put a lot of thought into their service, particularly the decor and flowers which was set up stunningly by Designer Flowers, but, also into their words. The service, taken by Nichola at Bespoke Celebrant Services was a personal affair and I enjoyed weaving their story into this film.
I should quickly mention one of the more bizarre moments of the day, which came after the speeches and food and during some down time whist the evening guests arrived. I had about an hour whilst Jane was off getting changed into her evening dress, so I set myself up in one of Gosfield’s hidden rooms to start charging my cameras batteries and backing up footage. After 10 minutes, the door opened and in walked Liam, who told me that he needed to rest his eyes for a bit. He proceeded to sit on the sofa and fall asleep whilst I backed up my footage.
This was the first time a groom had ever fallen asleep next to me but after 20 mins, he woke from his nap and went out to meet his evening guest!
I should also shout out Garrett at We Are InVerve for being great company on the day.
This is for Jane and Liam and their families. I hope they love this film of their day. I had a wonderful time with them all and I loved putting this Gosfield Hall Wedding Video together for them both.
