- Join me for a fun-filled day at sea!
Sea Day 1 aboard Carnival Conquest was filled with nonstop fun! I had the pleasure of supporting our amazing Cruise Director, Savannah, during her busy schedule, The Wave morning show, celebrating our VIFP Diamond guests, honoring our service members at the Military Appreciation Gathering, and bringing the magic of Dr. Seuss Story Time to life… and that was just the morning!

I completely agree with you Lee about being respectful. I miss the restaurant and being able to order the delicious food and those housekeeping people are amazing. ❤
@@virginiamusumeci6384 thank you! 🙏🏻 I know it’s the Internet and the evolution of our communication… But I just wish people would be a little more mindful/considerate.
Carnival Conquest was the first Carnival ship that we took our grandson on. He was only 8 months old, but we have been on there a few more times since then (he is now 3). We were on Carnival Celebration a few times and really enjoyed having you as our Cruise Director, but sad that you won't be on there this next December when we sail again. Congratulations on your promotion and we hope only the best for you, your career and your future. 🌴☀⛱😎
@@TrishMorgan-p6h I know you will have the most wonderful time! I’m sorry to be missing you. Thank you for the congratulations. I sincerely appreciate it and I’m sure we will stay in touch.
As always you are a breathe of fresh air Lee ⭐
@@lonnicubas590 trying! I appreciate it
The glass flowers are beautiful 😍. I love the positive vibe you show and share. We need a lot more of that in the world. Remember, a smile is free! Thanks for sharing. Have a great day! 😊
@@elizabethblevins5736 I am so glad you do! And I am lucky to have you following these adventures - thank you for adding to the experience :-)
Morning Lee We had a BLAST on Conquest in 2013. We had 3 of our kids with us. 2 were on their first cruise in 2011, another son joined us on that cruise and it was a BLAST. Nothing better as a parent then their adults will do a family cruise.
@@heideleskun1163 good morning! Thanks for sharing that memory with me. Sounds like such a great time. I’m glad you and the family found cruising.
Great video. We enjoyed cruising with you and loved seeing your content as a Cruise Director. But now, seeing you empowering newer Cruise Directors is very special and exciting.
@@chrisgrant3820 the prospects of this role are simply thrilling :-) looking forward to the next few years s
It’s wonderful seeing bits of your journeys - traveling, coaching and mentoring on a larger scale in the fleet. Just brilliant! Oh and please have extra Blue Iguana for me….. 😂
@@maryellendillon4469 I’m still trying to work out how much I can share. I don’t wanna cross any boundaries or get in trouble. And I don’t want to give anyone the wrong impression.
I can’t have extra blue iguana… Because I ate it all the first time
@@LeeFleetCruiseDirectorwell if you can’t have extra, just enjoy! I’m going through withdrawals……🌮😂
@ no… When I say I kind of extra… It’s because I ate it all… Blue Iguana… It’s gone! I ate the lot
I always take a picture of the card for the waitstaff on my table so that I don't forget any of them.
@@gailwojciechowski2009 such a great practice and they appreciate you doing it too.
You are positive and inspirational! That is why I enjoy your posts and videos so much. Great video today. We haven't sailed on the Conquest yet, but I do enjoy the older ships. The Creme Brulee is one of my favorites, but I take the crusty sugary part off. 😎🌴
@@JKCAdventuresLLC the crusty sugary part is my favourite bit! Lol
My dear Lee… I can’t agree more with you regarding criticism from the media community ( mostly uncalled for and vicious) with no real purpose, but to put down all the hard working people on board ships… How do you do it day in and out???!!! And while I’m thinking about this, as famous of a cruise director as you were, how can you walk around any of the ships among guests and not be stopped by a mob of people wanting to talk to you and wish well on your new role… I know, I most definitely would like to give you a big hug and wish all the best!!! There are people that live just to ridicule and minimize the great service they are receiving, because, well… they are miserable in their own skins and can’t seem to do any better… I meantime; can’t wait to experience my next cruise on board the Spirit in March out of Barcelona!!! i wish you would visit us as I understand the ship is coming out of refurbish, and having you on board would be such a treat!!! You know I love you very much and wish all the best, so here’s hoping our paths cross again in the near future!!!❤❤❤
OOOO what a trip that will be!! I wish I could be there too
Agree with you Lee - positivity is so important. Life's way too short! Just be a good human. Ooooh good on you for resisting Creme Brule! Great video! Potato or not - just love them!
@@CarnivalCruiseAddicts thank you for understanding that sometimes to potato footage is better than no footage at all.
The Internet gets an ugly voice at times. I know that our Cruise Director and entertainment staff, do read hurtful comments…. :-( and then people ask why more of the team aren’t actively online.
I am not sure you can call it a rant if you keep a pleasant smile on your face. Just saying. I totally agree with your comments about positivity though. And I love inside cabins. I suffer from insomnia and I usually sleep so much better in inside cabins than I even do at home.
A smiling moan hahaha thanks for agreeing with me.
You really are just the BEST! Any chance you will be on the Magic for the May 3 ABC cruise??
@@TBodeonthego unlikely… But never say never
omg hi lee!! i haven’t been on your channel in so longg!!
(and also, happy new year)
@editsbyemiixx well that’s okay… Because I haven’t been posting in so longg … but I’m back… It looks like you’re back and that’s all that matters!
Happy New Year to you too
Thank you for another great video and important message that everyone needs to hear!
I had a question about your new role- do you go and watch the various programs and then offer constructive criticism to the staff on helping them to improve? Is it part of their "review?" (I remember, as a teacher, that superiors would always be coming in to observe, many times with no warning and then meet with us, telling us what they liked and what we could improve upon)
@@LisaBoyle413 you’ve nailed it! That is a large part of my new role :-)
I've Always Kept A Mindset To Report On Experience Only... Opinions Are Like Having Wind. Just Because You Have One Inside Doesn't Mean You Need to Let It Out, No One Wants To Hear Anyone Else's, As Most Of Them Stink.
@@KnowShipSherlock THIS is golden! I had never heard it expressed this way - but its so true
Yes, we need more positivity in this world for sure. There is nothing wrong with some criticism..but that should be done with some thought as well before putting it out into the universe. #keepingitpositive
@@DaveBrandysExcursionsTravel really! Icouldn’t agree more.
Can you tell us more about your new job. What exactly do you do?
@@thomaskuykendall4024 I just posted on my Facebook page, asking for questions for Q&A - I guessed there would be a lot of questions about the new role.
I am a bridge between the teams on the ship and Miami head office. I go around Ship to Ship supporting primarily the Cruise Director and Fun Squad. Watching events providing feedback and giving advice. We will also ensure policies and procedures of being followed and generally celebrate the hard work of the team.
Coaching and mentorship.
We also provide valuable feedback to entertainment head office regarding the shipboard operation.
thx for the info!!
Complaining just to complain is unnecessary. However, positive criticism given tastefully allows people and processes to be improved.
@@JTtravelAdventures Agreed. If it’s constructive it’s welcomed - but even the most well intended feedback deserves its appropriate platform/setting for delivery.
@leefleetcruisedirector. good point. Yall have an internal process for that.
