Thanks! The person who vandalized the school got caught by janitor Jim and knocked him out with a trophy. They then took the trophy with them. As for burning the school, that was a threat John made that gave them reason to suspect he might also resort to vandalism. It's also worth noting - spoiler alert - the person who did it only intended to vandalize 1 room. But, after the altercation with Janitor Jim, they went ahead and stage a full-on vandalism to cover their true motive.
