I’ve been following this build since I first seen it. Been wanting to build a buggy but wanted to see how it’s done and you sir have done that. Nice rig! Can’t wait to see it when it’s finished.
Thanks for the kind words. I'm not quite doing a "How to" series because that would just be too many videos, but I try to go over some of the techniques or why I'm doing some things certain ways. I'm looking forward to it being done as well, ha.
Thanks Patrick. You were correct! I'm always down to learn something new. I will say, the heims that are currently on my green one do not have that though (strange). I purchased them around 7 years ago, not that it should make a difference. Thanks again!
Really good tip on marking the links on thread direction. I see you opened a package of brackets who makes them is it a local shop or do you order them?
I don't think I have a video directly about that. I go over a few things in this video about placement, but it's definitely not a how-to video. I read some of the basic link info threads on forums over a decade ago, then just started winging it from there. I've probably linked near 10 vehicles and just have a comfort level while building them now, and trusting they'll perform how I want. I'll say linking is a much smoother process when your starting point is a custom offroad based chassis.
@@Lowbouncer thanks for the reply. I found some videos on the busted knuckle tech tips page. Super helpful. I tried reading online, there's a lot of forum bickering to sort through.

Man you have a diverse selection of tunes, skrillex, deadmau5, lots of punk and metal. Lol. you're killing it on the bouncer man.
You're observant, and correct about diverse tunes. 😄 And thanks man!
Seriuosly. Nice welds man, good job. :)
I really appreciate it!
Looking good mate

fun fact sir, the left hand thread nuts have a tiny slot cut in the corners of the nut............ standard issue on left hand threads

Nice vid . Around how much cost a bug like one u have ?
Thanks. Depends on if you build the entire thing or have a shop build it for you.
Please tell me where I can see the project?

Just found your channel. Curious how you decided on link geometry. You probably have a video about it, but this is the first one ive watched
