So let me tell you a little something about why that gap is there and the reason I didn't go for MK Design's frame chop. The cowl of the single seat actually sits at an angle. Keep in mind without the frame chop, how the rear mudguard curves under the seat on a stock bike. To sit completely flush with the royal Enfield cowl seat, your new chopped sub frame needs to be at an upward angle similar to a thruxton or certain XSR builds. The only way to get decent spacing with the seat is either to do that, or go for an aftermarket cowl seat for the straight frame.
Got a possible solution for your seat gap issue. I recently installed the Baak short seat kit on my RE GT650. Try mounting the seat latch underneath the frame instead of on top.
I took the owners manual PDF with torque specs and whatnot, broke it out into individual chapters so it’s not an ungodly large document, and hot linked each table of contents to the respective page. It’s much easier to use now. Lemme know if you want me to send the files to you. I’ve been meaning to share them to some of the RE forums but haven’t gotten around to it yet.
Maybe you just tired of TH-cam and just don't want to do it anymore. You are alive, you have a life, you have a bike, you have a camera, the sky is the limit about the stuff that you could film that people would love to see and enjoy if you put the effort to create and share. But I get it, the commitment can take a toll on you. Yesterday I went for a ride to spend the afternoon at a local festival, I was going to take the camera and record it, in the end I decided to leave everything behind and just ride, just go enjoy the moment, so today I have nothing to edit. Don't make your channel about a bike or about riding or about anything, your channel should be about you and what you are currently doing, I use my moto blogs to just clear my mind and talk about anything that is happening to me what am thinking and get a discussion going.
I totally agree with you, it is time to simplify our lives, too much stuff everywhere. One car, one bike, one of everything and that is it. Every object that I own, and I keep stashed somewhere not being used feels like a big weight on my back, I just want to live a simple life and get rid of everything that I don't need. Your Royal Endfield looks good, I always liked that white fuel tank, I don't care for how you have the front triple setup, I guess you trying to make the clips on even lower, I think it looks hideous, and it must be really uncomfortable to ride. I see your dilemma with the rear cowl, I think the problem might be the seat is bended upwards, I think the MK Design horseshoe is fine, but that Gap would drive my OCD crazy. I do wish I had a house with a garage in the back like yours, those house with the detached garage remind me of the north, here in FL we don't have those. I only have a car port and although it provides some protection, I still wish to have an enclosed garage to work on my bike like you do even when it is raining. I am planning on trading my cruiser for a Continental GT, I just don't like the current color scheme, these bikes are rarely on the used market, and the closest dealer only have that blue color that I don't like. I wish I could find a white one like yours.
Hi Friend¡ How are you? Good video.. I like.. Two questions for you¡ The Diablo suspension how much down when you seat down? This have 23 manual positions? and How much Do you down the front suspension (cm).. I hope your help¡ Regards friend.
Do you have a video of when you replaced your headlight bracket? I saw when LED (sp?) 3d printed some threading to make your front turn signals fit, that headlight housing looks NOT like the one on this video. So you changed it correct? I watch lots of your videos and the only thing is, it's hard to tell them chronologically. Lastly, are you falling out of love with your bike? Go ride it! You used to ride and just talk and I dig that. Maybe stick in on the Ram, if you still have it, ride to another state, Park the Ram and take the RE GT 650 for a nice trip around a lake or park or historical stuff. I agree about too much stuff. declutter if you can.. enjoy the bike bro.
@@BurtoniMotors maybe you can go out on travels with your bike?🤔i’m just thinking loud😅visit american history places and make a bikes and coffee🤔oke i would be a bad youtuber😅
How long was the led light strip that you ordered from revival? And how long are the little nubs left after you cut the frame? Have you thought of adding washers under the light strip bracket to raise the light strip and bracket up to make the gap appear smaller?

You've slid the triples so far down the fork tubes, watch out for the fork brace hitting the lower triple when going over large bumps.
Nice Bike !
List of what you did to bike !
I’m going to buy one this week but I want it all done by dealership !
If you have the torque specs for the bike restore all the bolts you loosened then put a small paint mark on them that way you'll know if they loosen
never use any kind of lubricant to put a grip on. use compressed air
Just ride it man. Go on a ride and video it. Chat a bit. Whatever. Just keen to see more riding vids
Love this guy. Makes you see the future. :)

But anyways, you found it and you're gonna redo it... Hope it gets better
Ride it downhill and dump the clutch?
It’s never an easy pull out
Makes you wanna sell your bike.
Geez kid, we don't have all day for you to emote all your feelings. Can you ever just get to the point?
Nope, you’ve got to hear me talk through my feelings. You are all my therapist.
@@BurtoniMotors I'll send your medical insurance a claim for treatment then! LOL
I like when you emote!
