I'm thinking about getting one of these two, or both. Played GRID 2 before it got culled off Game Pass, took a while to adjust to but it was nuts, the handling was punishing but intense and the sounds and looks were great, but it wasn't without flaws.

Very late update: I got both. Autosport came with the Black Edition code.

Depends what you want. Both can be difficult to really learn, but they're incredibly satisfying once you have.
GRID 2 involves a lot of sliding and a decently linear career mode. It is pretty arcadey and punishing. Autosport is closer to Racedriver GRID but feels more like an altered GRID 2. The steering is heavy but fairly consistent. I flick-steer into long corners.
I will say from a personal perspective that GRID 2 just felt more immersive. Autosport has you as a driver for hire but GRID 2 just lets you go in a team and race, and it's fun.
The music is brilliant in both, but GRID 2's feels better to me.
My verdict is GRID 2.

Yes, I agree. Grid 2 is only drifting, whatever surface you are driving. Sorry but although Autosport has some flaws, it is better than Grid 2 (with more content BTW such as Mont Tremblant, Hockenheim or Washington for the tracks and Aston Martin V12 Zagato or Mazda 787B for the cars for example)

I like both of them they are fun to play AND they are better than shift series. The only thing that i don't like about Gird Autosport is that You do not have your own cars this is my opinion

Correction, Autosport is a more realistic version of GRID 2. Realistic gameplay doesn't automatically determine if a game is good or not.
