Nice to have a clear view of the sign and all its characters. Since it's a Luminator, I already knew how they all looked like by looking at the 8X14 font that it uses. The dial for the sign looks interesting, too.
Just incase it was needed. Remember the BMT division used numbers about 30 years prior to the installation of these signs. The 1 was Brighton, 4 was sea Beach, etc. In recent memory when these were used for work train service, each work train had a number assigned such as garbage pickup number 4, so the train was signed as a 4 to help crews.
I have a question. Why isn't there ever an r32 L and S train in service? Those trains have those letters but never put the r32's on those lines in service.
The L and S had r32s on them in the past. The S got rebuilt to 2 car platforms so r32s can't be used there unless they were rebuilt with full width cabs for OPTO. The L got cbtc which made running smee equipment impractical.

THE (U) TRAIN LIVES
I saw another video a while back that featured one of those trains traveling along an elevated track outside, and its sign was doing the same thing..
Now I know my abc’s next time won’t you sing with me
I’m just surprised they have all the numbers, I, O, U and Y
Yeah
Must of just uploaded the whole alphabet. Tbh I never could really read those. Wish they stuck with the r30 rollsigns.
Very much foam
For what it’s worth, it was a stock sign that Luminator used in similar products.
Omg nice
It’s next to r211
They still seem to have r32 trains!
I have a question, why does the r32 has number signs if it is from the b division?
Idk
It's an alphanumeric sign
That's awesome to see that
I feel like the MTA needa add more lines but then again not enough space underground if impossible.
Very awesome
Just curious, if those trains cant fit on IRT subways, why did they have signs for 0-9 put into them?
The Luminator sign came with all the characters.

@@MrRailfan X can be used for not in service.
I did not expect that. *o.o*
O and 0 are the same.
Oh! That’s probably why they never had a O or 0 train!
Zero is taller than O. 0, O

Where do these nonexistant letters and numbers come from lol?
This is a Downtown K train. The next stop is, we don't know where.

What a find. Why was it left to do that with no one operating it?
The route sign knob was left on test mode. Not sure why.
