Small Municipal Airport. Single runway. One terminal building, maybe two. Name it after a long dead pioneer, preferably with a Spanish name. That is my hat in the ring.
I think having a small regional airport across the bay bridge would be nice, like one terminal and like 6 jet bridges. And than a small airport out in the desert for general aviation
You should do a marble mountain philharmonic orchestra; the top orchestra in marble mountain that plays classical music. Of course, they would need a pretty nice venue somewhere close to downtown. (:
I need radio DJs, ads, weather updates, news bulletins, anything! Think the radio stations in GTA. I want that. If you want to get involved shoot a 10-20 second voice memo to 2dollars20@gmail.com. More info here - discord.gg/gy7T9UN thanks!
Another bridge crossing the river next to the port would look cool, closer shots of downtown from the bridge, not as far as bay bridge. Could be related to transferring cargo by truck directly to the port. Maybe a light rail crossing into the other side of river, connecting up to the other lightrail crossing the river. Workshops sydney harbor bridge would look tuff.
Some really cool neighborhoods in this episode! I’d be happy to live in almost any of them. I can’t imagine having a view of the beach and the bridge. Also, I love all the ideas for radio stations- it’s a great way to add some lore. Just a great episode!
This is giving me some #calaverabeach vibes!!! Try placing some yachts and boats next to the hidden beaches. It is a very common practice in coastal areas ( you can take a look for example at a few spots in Mallorca Spain or Marseille France)
LMAO, sorry, but I just had the biggest laugh and "oooohhhh bbboooyyyy that's uhhhh.... oh no...." moment when you said there will be a heavy hip hop/RnB station based "in a real rough neighbourhood of Montana". That's uhhhhh.... ahem. lol
Idk know if you prefer for “bending” to be on for road placement or not, but when bending is off you can save the extra step of straightening out the weird bend that that option created in the first place. If you prefer for bending to remain on so that your road placement/intersection is guaranteed to plop without holes or grass poking through, just watch the color of your road segment before you plop it permanently with bending off; blue, no issues. But, if orange/red that means you’ll get the angle you wanted, but you’re going to have to jimmy it a little. Anyway, you’re a C:S god and probably already know this, yet have a good reason for keeping bending on. Your cities are fantastic & I love watching your videos! They’re really relaxing. Thanks for sharing your hard work with us!
Just finished binging Bordertown and Marble Mountain through these last 5 days... I love your work. Keep it up! xD P.S: It's a bit annoying, but mostly hilarious how you started intending to build a functional city (running on a positive financial balance) and with around 30 mods... and now here we are. LMAO
That’s a cool Oceanside neighborhood! It would be under consideration for home in marble mountain. I think I would personally prefer downtown Montana or, more likely the neighborhood along the riverfront between downtown and the river.
You should have a radio station dedicated to Montana sports in either the downtown or by the stadium. Possible names being KMM Sports or Sports Montana Radio
For a radio station could you do a early 2000s/90s U.S. rap station? I would think it would be in a small commercial/office building in an existing suburb
I really hope we soon have the technology to just take a map like marble mountain and put it into a game like forza or even gta. Just having the ability to explore this city on foot, in a car or a plane would be so much fun
So, there's this city that I'm not sure if you've heard of or not, its called Panama City Beach, in northern Florida and I believe a series inspired by it would be great for your channel. It's half way between an isthmus and a cape, and it runs a good section of the Florida panhandle from Panama City to Destin. Panama City itself is divided into two sections, the main Panama City where you find a lot of local industry and a cargo port, and Panama City Beach, which is separated from Panama City by a bay. Panama City Beach is actually larger and has A LOT of high-rise buildings, and it looks really scenic. there's also an Air Force base in Panama City and in Destin, which is about 70-ish miles west of Panama City. Also, one detail for you that you can't miss is that in between the beachside condominiums and the sandy beaches, is a fenced off section where the dunes are. Its like that down the entire coast there, don't miss that detail. But anyways, try to consider this, maybe look at the area on google earth, its one of the most beautiful beaches on the Atlantic coast, other than the still visible hurricane damage from Hurricane Michael, that is.
I dont know if this will be scene but Marble Mountain needs a railyard. Not something huge either, just a 15 track origination/termination for North/South and East/West trains, and a separate smaller (5-6 track) yard for local freights running into (a future) industrial park, and serving local rail-served industries.
It would be nice to see a more temperate or chilly city, or at least somewhere with real seasons, like Pres' New Windsor series. I don't think I've ever seen a build like this on a winter map but that's a bit extreme going the other way.
in my opinion, put the airport in a spot so the approach is over this coastal area, maybe start the runway right after the water. it would be very good with a smaller airport, eg. 1 runway, 1 or 2 terminals.
you should check out the socal houses on the workshop, not only is there a pack where there are 5 houses in 1 in 4 variants for ease of placement but one pack has sloped houses which you could use for a richer district on a hill or mountain
Dude, again with the tram line, it doesn't go in between a highway. It should go trough a neighborhood, to get to the people, that's the whole point. Nice neighborhood tho!
This really makes me wanna purchase the game! Did you build all this with the base game + certain mods and custom assets, or do you also have certain expansion packs?
The radio station in the desert would most likely have a giant radio mast outside it.
Small Municipal Airport. Single runway. One terminal building, maybe two. Name it after a long dead pioneer, preferably with a Spanish name. That is my hat in the ring.
This is a great idea I really hopes he reads this
A pirate radio run from someones house in a far suburb. The antenne is well hidden in his backyard. He plays electronic music since the 90's.
I love the barbed wire fence around the crazy mans house in the beginning of the episode. Nice touch

And I'm not sure if you already talked about this but I'd like to see the whole of Marble Mountain in a night time cinematic. Great series by the way
Damn, it's looking fantastic! And stop teasing about the next series, or rather, tease us more with the trailer already!
Next week for you Patrons 🙂
@@twodollarstwenty fantastic, can't wait! Was almost gonna start randomly trying TH-cam addresses 😆
dang have to become patron now

I feel you need a proper Country music bar thing next to that desert radio station, with loads of pick-up trucks outside etc...

If only we actually had a city this nice in Montana
1:48 that's the name of a news channel in Canada
Add a 24 hour news radio station for all of Marble Mountain. It will also include traffic, weather etc
Marble Mountain Media Company, MMMco
He could put it on a mountain so it can reach everywhere
great idea too I'd love to see that

I WAS LOOKING FOR SUMONE TALKING AB THIS
You gotta add some high voltage powerlines and maybe a powerplant
Yeah place the airport on the other side of the river. You will have a lot more room to work with.

The train line under the bay bridge is really smart because actually in SF there was a tram/train going where you put the train line! 👍
11:04 SYDNEY IS FINALLY 3D IN GOOGLE EARTH? :O
sydney has been like that for years lol
@@Opclipz no it hasn't. 3d for sydney only came out last year
Idk they still have only done mosman north sydney and cbd last time i checked
In the brief moments when you zoom out to look upon the city, it makes me feel like am looking and scrolling in Google maps!
Well done.
Another beautiful episode of Marble Mountains! I love the beach area alot!
I'd love to hear a advert for a Amtrak service
probably for some thing like the Coast Starlight
Not sure how that would be done, but it sounds nice.

I would love to live in on of the nice farmhouses you built. Love those.
Your city is so well-made. I genuinely thought I was watching a cinematic of a movie or a very realistic simulator game.
For a radio station could you do a early 2000s/90s U.S. rap station? I would think it would be in a small commercial/office building in an existing suburb
I wish you best of luck in growing the channel, attention to details is extreme, good luck!
Absolutely love the conspiracy theorist’ house. Small, unique additions to building as you did adds so much character! Great job, mate 🤙🏼
You could use a station that is listening to outer space like SETI, just saying they don't have to all be music/talkshow.
I really hope we soon have the technology to just take a map like marble mountain and put it into a game like forza or even gta. Just having the ability to explore this city on foot, in a car or a plane would be so much fun
On the mountains across from the city you should build an observitory
Why is the R&B station in the "rough" neighborhood? Affluent people can afford to run radio stations. FCC licenses are very expensive...
FRR
Hip hop and r&b in the run down area? Okay
Nice work 👍🏻, thank you for the Spirit
U should make a modern hip hop station

In regards to the future airport, i'd like to see an overview of the map. Tried the wiki page but there is no map on the wiki page (hint).
I really get some gta vibes by watching this vid. Great work keep it up man ❤️
Hits With Ricks 100.2 FM plays 80s 70s 60s mostly classic rock
maybe the next series will be appalachia? something like maybe Charleston or another mountainous city

Good ideas.. you need an NPR type radio station though ---
REALLY hope it’s a sci-fi build coming...... 👀
I believe sydney observatory was originally used for accurately standardising time rathe than stargazing
you should check out the socal houses on the workshop, not only is there a pack where there are 5 houses in 1 in 4 variants for ease of placement but one pack has sloped houses which you could use for a richer district on a hill or mountain
He wants too keep it mostly vanilla
Build and airport with runways at 50° off each other and name it after your first pet or favourite patron

Speaking of fluxtrance where did that man disappear to?
He has done some official tutorials for the CS team, but I'm pretty sure that our special boy is very busy with his studies right now.
Love the radio stations! Haha epic concept
This is a bit like Collaroy and Collaroy heights!
5:02 Bay bridge re-opening after months of maintenance
1:52 hey, wait a minute, that’s the Canadian broadcasting corporation
you should call that rock radio station "The Scorch"
lots of radio stations, especially rock, have that type of name
ex: The Hawk
Let’s be honest guys, $2.20 is the new flux
Um no. two dollars twenty is one channel and Fluxtrance is another. They are clear difference and two dollars twenty is far more entertaining.
wowplayer160 I agree $2.20 is way more entertaining
Flux is a master, two dollars is decent, but Flux is like the God father of Cities Skylines with Keralis.
Please put a historic lighthouse at the end of the peninsula near the bridge!!!!!!!
That could be cool. Hell, abandoned lighthouses are everywhere in Europe and North America.
Was building a city on this map but decided to abandon is because I laid down too many divided highways and parkways
You should add some nice upper class/ rich homes along the river (inland, not on the coast)
You need a proper rail yard for the port. They need space to store all the train cars waiting to be shipped out / in.
I agree. The one I built in this ep is just temporary
@@twodollarstwenty the space right after the tunnel along the shore is perfect!
Place some Funk radio station pls! Somewhere in old downtown'd be great!
YAY a new series
Amazing work!
New suburbs need elementary schools. Seem to have more parks than schools
You need to build something in that little spot on the other side of the highway, the empty space annoys me
put some giant disk at dessert, it would looks like the gta v feels :)
Tuber simulator ad on the radio, has to happen
I would like to live in the big villa near the uni the one with the heli pad
Calloway beach? Sounds like La Holla to me
please please please make a racetrack that would be so cool and really good place to wright backstrys for
Love your video’s keep it up
God damn it looks beautiful!!!
You should extend the town in desert
WoW that looks amazin’ !!

New serie - Denver or Salt Lake City :)
A Spanish radio station
I’d wanna be rich and own a big fancy apartment in the center of the city with a mansion up in the hills that I could spend the summers or holidays in

that's the whole point, this is a very vanilla base city
Looks good man
0:10 when are you going to develop the left side of the river? If you develop the left side which is empty now then your city might look more balanced
Do a hospital complex next please
