    This letter perfectly exemplifies how Sarah views other people and thus how she treats the people in her life life and all those unfortunate enough to come into contact with her.
    She is intensly manipulative, self-centered, and has a massively over-inflating ego. Sarah behaves as if she's the most important part of everyone's day, as if she is somehow entitled to the time, energy, and care of others.
    She is completely incapable of self-reflection, of taking accountability for her own part in failed interpersonal relationships and for the contstant sea of drama that envelopes her life, and therfore she is also incapable of real, meaningful personal growth.
    She uses others for personal gain, including "love bombing", being fake nice, and being willing to lie or manipulate situations or other's feelings and emotions to get her desired outcome, and then she becomes mean and abusive if they don't behave exactly how she expected or wanted.
    Sarah Boone is incredibly judgmental and despite the fact that she is what most people would consider a failure at life in general, she believes that she is above everyone else in every way.
    Sarah lies nearly constantly; about her own intelligence, about her experiences, about her lifestyle, to get sympathy or accolades, or to slander other people in an effort to make herself look better.
    All of this to say that Sarah Boone is a deeply troubled and broken woman. I feel terribly sad for her son, and for Jorge Torres' family. And that I truly believe that the jury, and the very fair and honorable Judge Kraynick, got this one right; she is exactly where she needs to be.

    • @StormSong8
      @StormSong8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    • @hazelangus
      @hazelangus หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@StormSong8 These character traits don't always have a reason. When they do, to me it implies that there was probably something awful that happened around the person before the age of 6 or 7.
      I believe that borderline and narcissistic personality disorders are an adaptation for the child, a coping mechanism for whatever they are experiencing. They can work for the child to get their needs met and to survive, but as an adult, these coping mechanisms are no longer something that is helpful.
      It's not always abuse that causes it, either. I knew of somebody who had a lot of surgeries at a very young age and then throughout their childhood, and this treatment was extremely traumatic and painful. They felt that their parents had abandoned or disliked them, because the parents were the ones who took them to the hospital and told them it would be ok.

      If you replace "forgive" with "hate" you see what responders find in domestic disputes: you can often tell who the main abuser is by their being enraged. The victim or primary victim is confused and frightened. There is no fear in her affect. A victim describing this much abuse would show signs of stress and fear in recounting what happened to them. She is seething with cold rage, she has perfect fluency, no stress in reliving the trauma at all. It is an invective.

The judge did that to I’m sure try and keep the record as clean as possible, but that won’t be relevant on her appeals. The way she approaches 'forgiveness' is mind-blowing to me as a Catholic.
    It reminds me of the sacrament of Confession, where we confess our sins, and how we're taught to AVOID the temptation to list other people's sins at the same time. We're not there to explain possible excuses for our sins (e.g. "Susie hit me first!") or reasons why someone else's sin provoked ours; God knows all the circumstances and He Himself is our Advocate. We're not accountable for someone else's sins, so He doesn't need us to recount them to Him. We're in the confessional to confess just our own sins, with true contrition for OUR sins.
    Sarah's approach to forgiveness, of saying "I forgive X for BEING SO TERRIBLE AND DOING TERRIBLE THINGS, LET ME LIST THEM FOR YOU," sounds to me like saying "I confess to doing X because SOMEONE ELSE COMMITTED THIS SIN AND THIS SIN AND THIS SIN AND IT PUT ME IN THE POSITION WHERE I HAD TO DO THE THING." That's just... not the time and the place, and not the way.

    Wow, although I admit I was rather disappointed by the fact that judge Kraynick didn't hand down a scathing review of Boone's abhorrent behaviour and actions that have catastrophically effected not only her victim, but all who cone into contact with her in the hope that it might wake something up inside of her.... But having heard this equally abhorrent letter to the judge, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that the learned judge undoubtedly had the measure of Boone and foresaw the venom that would be unleashed from her, even if he'd gifted her the very minimum sentence allowed under the statute, and for this reason, he was extremely wise in his decision to give her not even so much as a single, solitary crumb from himself with which she could scrutinise and use as ammunition against him in some form or other and I shouldn't have underestimated the wisened judge in his estimations of Boone's capacity to cause chaos for him personally, and by adding no other words than "LIFE" in his final summation in handing down her sentence , it effectively cut off the head of the snake and minimised her capability to exploit anything he said for her own benefit.
    Lastly, don't be fooled by Boone starting every scathing sentence with "I forgive you", as this is merely a tactic of hers for two reasons, one is to give her what she believes is cartè blanché to follow up that statement with the most despicable lies. The second reason she starts with the categorically false statement of "I forgive...." is because even she knows that what she's about to follow up with is so inappropriate that she hopes the words of forgiveness will soften the blow. This individual is capable of fostering such unimaginable venom with which to hurt others with often through no fault of their own other than a perceived slight Boone feels they did, that she poses a significant danger to the average civilian who is simply not accustomed to such vitriol, much less equipped to adequately protect themselves from such an individual who sets her sights on her next victim, and for that reason, it's imperative the wider public is protected from her.
