remember, you should always aim for the purples to home in on an enemy/ground pound, as that's basically the best way to damage something... although the only use of this in NORMAL pikmin 2 is when defeating the man-at-legs before it gets up
I know that people are probably not watching this in 2020 but there’s a way to make it even worse... replace all of those enemies with waterwraths and see what would happen...
I asked this before but dont know if you saw it: I have a question: Some time ago I also used to hack Pikmin 2 quite alot. But the thing I never figured out was how to add custom models (selfmade). I tried everything with several programs converting stuff into the right format but in the end I ended up crashing the game, having no textures so everything went black or more kinds of errors! Maybe you can help me? Do you know a way how to add these custom models? Would be great to know!
idk how to add custom models yet but I can do custom levels but they will be very glitchy after your done with it. If you want to talk more about the custom level than talk to me on discord about it so I can give you the tools on how to do it.

You have two choices. Either fight the bosses on sub4 on your first run, or do a second run with purple Pikmin already acquired. I know when I was a kid, missing anything in a cave bothered me greatly. I didn't like having to redo caves just to stock on purple Pikmin for the 1000 weight treasure. I thought "isn't it enough that I've come through the whole game without letting any purples die? Why must I go through challenges I've already done?"
Wow. Actually if you do this for a while you can actually pay the debt in record time 😂. Also this is pretty cool that you can now add more sublevels to the caves. Can't wait to play this on mi wii :D
I actually played this on my Wii. It went fluently and it didn't have any errors. It was easy to do it. althought, you need to have your wii hacked in order to play it ;v

meh, this is nothing (to me at least) but this should be a later-cave sublevel if anything else. i, too, am making a big hack, and it has a progressive difficulty curve, starting out simple in the first 4 caves while giving the general idea to the player on how the hack will operate, then multiply it later on in later caves and sublevels. this being in the first cave wants me to believe that this is gonna be either one of the easier sublevels in the game, or have this being a standard in some sublevels here and there throughout the entire game. don't get me wrong, it looks rather fun, it's just *where* that's puzzling my brain
I seen your trailer of your hack and it's looking good, and I wan't to leave it like this because its suppose to be torture to the player and it will get them ready for the other caves. Also you can skip this sublevel if you renter the cave with the purple pikmin and get the other globe on sublevel 2 and yes I did move the purple flowers on to sublevel 3.

'lands of *torture*' is meant to be torturous, but that blame is put on the player if they didn't know any better or wanted to see what they could do to improve themselves. also, after seeing this, i feel more confident about putting more stuff onto a single floor, which is gonna be helpful for the last 4 caves of the game. and i got a question: what do you use to hack the health/carrying weight/seeds of enemies, and the weight of treasures, and what files? i'll need to know for a second hack i want to do after i finish the current one
carrying weight and seeds are in the same .szs file called pelletlist_us and located in user/Abe/pellet/us/pelletlist_us and the health for enemy's are in enemy/parm/enemyParms.szs
@@quotebalrog Pikmin 2 really needed to be harder. Even as a kid, I recall it being significantly easier than 1. Then Pikmin 3 lets all Pikmin carry bomb rocks and gives you flying Pikmin for almost complete EZ modo.
@@quotebalrog Some thoughts I had was to lower their attack and give them half the carrying power of a regular Pikmin. Not sure if the latter is easily feasible though. You could double all object weight and carrying power of other Pikmin to accomplish this, but I don't really like that fix.
I guess it's really hard work to do all this glitches keep up the good work :-) and hopefully do some more in the future because I love these glitch episodes

ok, makes sense since the .txt files didn't do anything, but how do i access/change/recompress them?
For that you need some tools about them... first you need wiimm to unpack the .szs files then you need Arcpack to pack them back into a .szs file.
