    A curse so powerful that it didn't strike Howard Carter, the man who actually discovered the tomb and who died at the age of 64 in 1939

    • @dseray9494
      @dseray9494 ปีที่แล้ว +61

      No, it got mixed up and killed a completely unrelated Howard carter a short while after the tomb was opened
      Or so horrible history told me

  • @TigerofRobare
    @TigerofRobare 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Ingram, of course, lived to be 85, while Lord Carnarvon's daughter, Lady Evelyn Herbert, was one of the first people in the tomb and died in 1980. Most of the people involved lived fairly average lifespans. Was Hugh Evelyn-White even involved? He studied the Homeric Hymns. Not very useful in Egypt.

      I dunno who u r, but we dig up dead people for wealth and status all the time. Check out any museum in America 90% of stuff on display was stolen (borrowed) from other countries and different cultures long extinct.

    • @RohanDurey
      @RohanDurey ปีที่แล้ว +21

      @@Eliqueme Your comment was not only incorrect but also disrespectful. While archaeologists do study and excavate ancient artifacts, reducing their profession to a mere "fancy word" is not only derogatory but also reflects poorly on your knowledge and understanding of the field. Your concept of “Discover it” is also flawed. Basically, most history is stored in our “homes.” Plus, every respective government owns those artifacts. It is with their permission the artifacts are taken for personal use. In the future, I would advise you to educate yourself and refrain from making disrespectful comments that trivialize the hard work and dedication of professionals in their field.

    Causation isn't the same as coincidence.
    Although, many believe the occultist Aleister Crowley may have had something to do with some of the deaths. I think I read somewhere that one of the supposed victims died at his house or in his presence and Crowley was fascinated with Egyptology.
