I used to host Rons theater presentations in the Valley where he introduced the full Return to Balance film and talked with the visitors. I'll never forget sitting with Ron, watching the film in silence, just absorbing it.
This is a beautiful little film. So calm and relaxing. But, as always, Ron displays tremendous power and balance with every move. I have never climbed anything more technical than 5.8 but this narrative explains some of the same feelings I have when I touch the rock.
I think if there were a Heaven, and Ron Kauk died and went there, he would hitchhike back to Yosemite. What a joy to think about a guy who was born to be in one place, found it, and did what he was supposed to do there.
Yeah I hear you, this has never been my vibe but if there's anyone who can get away with it, who I respect and appreciate, it's Ron. If it were some cheesy little dude with a man bun at the local food co-op, I would cringe, but Ron is a legend 🙏

Love you. Years ago you helped see what is right in life.
Striving for understanding. Trying to be humble in the face of pain. To forgive. Love. Moving forward in compassion. Thank You!
Jaaay! Big Ron, appreciate what you do, thank you for the video. Stay safe dude.
Fantastic short film. I love the music as well as Ron Kauk's graceful climbing and timeless wisdom
