The drum sound on this album highlights just how good Dave G is. Clean, precise, controlled. There’s just nowhere for any minor slip ups to hide in the mix. Add to that the fact he did two takes for each track; one for drums and one for cymbals. Awesome. Superbly emulated in this here cover. Sweet!!

Correction "Original drum track written performed by Dave Grohl." That's incorrect. Most of the drums on Songs for the Deaf were written by either Josh Homme or Gene Trautmann. And he performs the drums on two songs on the album. Millionaire and Go With The Flow. I know, because I've made this mistake too. That out of the way, this is a great cover.
