Sir please explain one thing that if household takes loan from the bank to buy a car then the interest paid by household to bank is not included in national income?
Isn't it the earned income of bank for providing services (loan)?
The loan interests paid by households are not included in the expenditure method used to calculate GDP because they are not categorized as capital equipment. When calculating the GDP, only the interests earned from loans used to purchase capital equipment are included.
