It’s because it is a 6v1, when you buff giants you’re buffing 6 of them with damage boost and hitpoint boost, all six while Golem is just damage, death damage, and golemite damage, you’re only buffing one golem, even tho the housing is equal, imagine buffing six nerds into chads in a boxing fight while one chad becomes a alpha male, the 6 chads will win because they can swarm and they all got buffed in everything.
