You're welcome!
Thank you so much! Great lesson!!!😍
Glad you liked it!
Hi Shayna, I was checking out the video and I noticed one thing;
What about if I said:
- "Bob said TO me (that) he was happy".
- He admitted STEALING the money.
Would this structure be correct ?.
Thanks in advance for the answer.
Hi Shayne, it's me again,
I guess the word "that" which appears in all the examples you gave, can be left out, right Shayna ?.
Unless the word that follows "that" is a verb, right Shayna ?.
Thanks in advance for the answers Shayna.
The sentence:
"He mentioned that he'd put gas in the car".
can have two meanings, like;
- He mentioned that HE HAD PUT gas in the car.
OR.
- He mentioned that HE WOULD PUT gas in the car.
Both sentences sound logical and correct to me.
Could that be possible Shayna ?.
Thanks in advance Shayna.
👍
Can we leave out the word "that" in ? ;
- He denied (that) he was responsible.
Or.
- He denied he was responsible.
"They boasted that their newer technology had rendered any other models useless."
