The way the orchestral hits first come in is very reminiscent of the way they would edit the song for fight sequences in the actual 1995 movie. I would hear the song change up like that during the henchman battle in Goro's lair or the Shang Tsung fight in the end of the movie and be like "Wait, that's not how the song went...."
