omg i completely agree with what you were talking about with the “grieving” process in college!! i just finished my freshman year as well and you’re the first person i’ve seen talk about it! first sem was definitely THE worst time of my life, but second sem was 100% the best !
'Done vs Perfect' and 'Comparison is the thief of Joy'.....so glad that you are embracing these. Us "special boys" tend to fall into this trap more than our counterparts. Learning these lessons early in life, is going to make the journey that much better for you Matty Boy. Well done my young friend. Jeff

I relate to soooo many things you've said and wish I had this same thought when I was at my first year of college. I'm already post graduate and still struggle with being the "perfect me" in everything I do. it's so tiring and mentally exhausting to be so hard on ourselves. oh and that part about friendships, man that hit hard! so relatable and hard to process. congrats on all of your achievements. hope you have a great summer xx

you probably know this but i don’t think one can find a better intro to comp sci course than harvard’s cs50. since i’m not a harvard student, took it online out of curiosity and it definitely helped deepening my interest. david is a great instructor.
there wasn't much math involved during my first year, but i know there will be more // i have heard it gets increasingly difficult 🫠 will keep you updated hahah
yep! i've now been off of accutane for over 2 years and have no problems in the sun! i'd say my skin was still pretty sensitive for 6 months after i stopped taking the medication, but it slowly gets better -- just make sure you're always protecting with SPF :)

I completely agree with the grieving deal at college because I feel like I definitely went through the same thing.
as someone with social anxiety starting college this fall, this was sooo helpful and makes me less nervous about being in a new environment 🥰
You will do great!! I have really bad anxiety & being a new environment last semester was really hard but it will get better!!💗
