- 6 minutes of Forza's AI fails. Watch them fail to brake and steer around a minor track obstacle and fail to observe motor racing etiquette.
These are all of my Forza Motorsport 4 car crash videos in one convenient place. Some crashes I caused, others I wasn't even involved in, all involve AI failing to avoid the carnage.

Well, I shouldn't blame the developers for not applying damage physics in their games, the blame, goes to the real life car manufacters who don't want to see their cars getting visually wreck, even if is just a paint graze, this is why I prefer older racing simulation games, with the exception of the gran turismo franchise, I still love any racing simulation, but I prefer a little of visual damage
better cars too, there are more traffic and generic cars like the honda fit and toyota yaris

In my opinion, forza 4's physics, damage model and car selection is vastly better then the more recent forza games (including forza horizon 3)

Pepe -_- Forza Horizon 3 is an arcade game and Forza Motorsport 7 is a simulation game, so Forza Horizon games dont count, theyre in a different category

Fun Fact: The higher the AI difficulty is, the more likely AI will miss braking points, turn-in too late/ early, drive aggressively, etc.

The sound effects have such an impact like they should.
I was doing a lap around Nürburgring with a Team Oreca Viper and when I was cornering around the last corner before the long straight, I hit the curb with my left wheels and the left side of the car went up to the air and my Viper was on 2 wheels until I hit the barrier causing and incredible accident lol. Forza Motorsport 4 is really the best when it comes to physics.
If u look at 2:21 and read the plate on the jeep it says death
I think that's his car because some cars had no plate decals.

I think this is why they took the New York course out of the game. It was always carnage in Forza 3, and there seemed to be less collisions in that game.
I forgot how much of an aggressive drivers those AIs are in this game

FM3 had better crash sound effects but dang FM3 and FM4 were the Forza games that had peak car damage
With all the advances made in tech, turn 10 has thus far been incapable of making a better game than fm4 somehow

Hilarious video, but 99% of the clips aren't the AI's fault. You can tell who the "Real" driver is by watching them pit maneuver every AI in order to cause the accident.
That also happened to me when I saw a prototype slammed into the ends of the pit lane then the others kept on bumping

then it missed the HSV and hit the BMW and I was like "Yes!!! HSV for the win!"
So that day i was driving on Le Mans with my Austin Martin one-77 at like 250 kmh and this other AI comes at like 300 kmh and drvies me in the butt and all the cars when flying all over the place
Lo que asombra es la forma tan realista de los choques y de los daños. Un juegazo Forza.
Verdad, es una de mis partes favorítas, Forza Motorsport 2, y 3, tambien tienen daños disponibles, pero el 4, mejoró los visuales del daño, pero al comienzo del Forza Mortorsport 5, removieron los daños drásticos, y la verdad, fue una desgracia que lo hayan removido. La compañía del juego, no es responsable por remover el daño visual de los coches, mas bien, son de las compañias de los autos reales, no quieren ver sus obras maestras siendo dañadas, aunque sea de entretenimiento 😢.

Just started with Forza 4 and I think it's great so far. But the AI is so annoying. It feels like it's trying to kill me on the track or something. It's a shame. :'(

Its like the only crash scene the dev's programmed for was a forward flip of the car when you hit something. Lol I get tired of seeing crashes in forza just because you already know the back wheels have jumped off the road. Can't wait till crash and damage is modeled right for once.

some time this game can be unrealistic one I got rear ended I spun out and the guy behind me made fly for 0 to 200 ft In the air i dont know if it was a glitch I never seen some thing happen like that in forza

how can you get some many of this magnitude? we got a different copy? all I ever get is an occasional car braking too late and driving into the sand...
So what we learned today is forza 4 does not like the color grey or orange
The AI in Forza 4 actually changes behavior depend on what you do, if its being really assholeish, just go out of your way to drive politely for a few races and it'll calm right down, try and avoid bumps, let faster cars pass and all that jazz - I know its annoying, but it stops the AI drivers attempting to murder you every race

this is not AI because around 2 minutes a jeep spun him out and no in game race is a 30 person multi class race ... or im wrong
sean jones The Ai can spin you out but it's usually when you did something wrong whilst driving
slayerz 1266 yeah, if you're toe to toe with them and you hit them, they turn into you, the more you steer towards them the more they steer towards you, so just leave them alone and theyll leave you, same thing happened to me in Forza 7
Pimped out NEW Dodge Viper. Fujimi circuit. Everything perfect. Murderous AI comes along. Ruins everything.
