Some of that bass is almost as low as my parent’s expectations for me.
Ha ha ha! Best comment for a while!
Well, that is low, isn't it? It's quite low.
👌🏻🤣
The hell hahahaha🤣🤣🤣
@@1death39 It's lower than a petrified shit dropped over the Mariana's Trench.

We might have to steal that

i do love the comedy element here but i also think on a technical level this band is incredibly underrated
Extremelyyyyyyyy underrated
I loved this the first time I heard it. They are rated correctly in my book
This should be the opening line of the Australian national anthem
You think?
as a new lover of this band !who was underrating them? all i can hear is a beautiful wall of sound that must be fucking un nerving for any music critique!! this tune is mental !
Just found this band and I'm heartbroken they have broken up. I can't stop listening to their albums!! They're also hilarious! I'm grateful for the music they have put out.
They didn’t break up. The vocalist just left.
Yeah, they're just in hiatus with Kin, the vocalist, in the departure lounge. That's all. He'll be a very hard man to replace. But then, ACDC managed to replace Bon Scott. Unthinkable.
@@mjcussen7458 I feel like mike patton should join the band 😅
@@Ocidad That could be a very progressive move for TFN. Get a petition going! TFN should give him a call.
@@mjcussen7458 A replacement is just that , a replacement. A turd can replace a diamond. Bon Scott was Bon Scott. Brian Johnson was a replacement that started the era of commercialized AC/DC. I'm no big AC/DC fan but Bon Scott was Bon Scott, vocalist of the pure AC/DC. The band just had to stay all Aussie when they should have considered Jessie James Decker. Now that would have been MF Epic.
Lead singer held the door for his band mates.
Good job by him
I love this band! Breaks out of the box and do like that they're jokesters.
Nah. They all made this possible.

Why am I just now discovering this band? I mean... that Bass is a delicious Carne asada burrito, those guitars are lightning and thunder, that drum is a dragon's heartbeat and those vocals are a ear tacos. I haven't heard a song this delicious in forever!
The algorithm brother. It blesses. It conceals. It algorithmes'es... ses

Right here with you buddy
How long will we be waiting, waiting?
Damn right
2024... still busy
I'm just waiting for Weird Al to make "One Ham Grilling".
I HOPE HE KNOWS ABOUT THESE GUYS
This deserves all the upvotes
This comment is as criminally underrated as Twelve Foot Ninja themselves.
He has to do the intro too, if you're going to do the job, do it right
Only one issue i see with this...and i know Weird Al would spot it too......Hams are usually Baked.
Gotta love a band that doesn't take itself too seriously. This is solid gold.
try allegeon
I just about died of laughter at the look on the guys face while the other plugged the cord in...
Check out Red Fang too.... they're hilarious af
they do take themselves seriously. they are just liberal with their musical flex
Iwrestledabearonce and nekrogoblikon make hella funny vids too
This song is completely ridiculous, but also a genuine masterpiece.
Why did it take so long for me to discover this band and this song??? Hands down the best metal song of all time in terms of structural complexity, instrument playing skills, vocals, and engineering. Rarely are musicians so accomplished in multiple playing styles that they can fuse together pounding metal riffs with melodic jazz and pull it off the way TFN does in this song. On top of that they meld their unique, incomparable musical style with an open and unafraid sense of humor that makes their videos so wildly entertaining. They should have twice as many followers, but I guess many new fans are still waiting to discover them late as I did. Unquestionably awesome!!! PLEASE TOUR THE US AGAIN!!!
Thank you for the kind words!
4:48 He had his "ohhs" on a peice of paper for timing! Priceless
I've been so busy, that I had to skip the intro using the link in the description.
Well that is busy! That's quite busy!
+twelvefootninja god has spoken
I hope that this isn't the best song on the album. I mean that in all ways positive too though, because this song is easily my favorite of 2015, and still so far of 2016. It would be a shame if you had exposed your ace so early.
+Neonmirrorblack Twelve Foot Ninja are lurking, waiting in the shadows to properly expose themselves to you... Fully exposed. Candy is optional.
I'm not stupid. Show me the candy first, then I'll get in the van.
I have no idea what is happening, but I like it. 🤣
Lead vocals and guitar were literally perfect for each other. Everyone in the band is essential, and makes the divine entity known as 12ft ninja possible.. but Steve and Kin have a serious Yin and Yang like chemestry that is galvanizing. I hope one day they reunite and settle any differences that may be..
Whoever thought about taping over the M on that Marshall amp deserves a medal
That had me fucking dying hahaha
Should've taped over the L's.
I'm fairly sure it was Stevic.. and I gave him that amp for Christmas one year!
I just noticed that, classic!
Deserves a metal
behind all the goofyness is one of the most diverse and talented metal bands out there..little bit of everything from 70's disco to djent..these guys do it all..but the icing on the cake for me here is kin's vocals..he has an awesome diversity to his vocals and he cant realy be compared to anybody..just a kick ass band from down under
mike patton 2.0
I agree with everything except the vocals. It's not that he's not good, he's great, but he tries way hader than Tatiana from Jinjer and isn't nearly as good. Check out Pisces-Jinjer for the best example, but all their music is good to see. So to say he's uncomparable isn't fair and if you can rebutte me with someone more talented than her lmk I'm open to talent any day.
@@GRAYgauss Spencer Sotelo is far more talented. I agree she is a great vocalist thought! It's just a little out of place to throw Jinjer into the conversation when we're talking about 12 foot ninjas vocals
Soo corey taylor doesnt exist? Jp but yeah this is amazing
If you like this Crotch Duster might be right up your alley. However they are decidedly heavier ranging from Grindcore to Polka and everything in between. The comedy skits on the album are NSFW heads up. Juvenile humor at best but it made me laff like one possessed if that's any indication of my level of intellect.
This song really is a masterpiece. I love the interplay between the drums and the guitar riff how they sort of interweave around each other, like the drum beats hit when the guitar is not playing and vice versa, almost like they're taking turns.
Just noticed that
Anyone still listening to this masterpiece
All day bro
Never gets old
👍
No wonder Tatiana from Jinjer mentions them as influential....The tempo and riffs is Jinjer all over the place
💜☺
And now there's been a collaboration!
The intro conversation has been my daily text opener for months, i'm really starting to piss my mates off!
I come back to this every now and then.
I'll quote it and of course no one knows what I'm talking about.
Amazing song too. One of the best of the genre.
Faith No More vibes but djent...amazing :O

Eric Brigham because that's just what guitars look like from down under. Shark themed. Don't believe me, look at the sound holes on Ormsby guitars

Indubitably precisely
That prog-jazz break at the end with the piano...I went insane!!! These guys are fucking awesome.
Yeah it went full bossa nova
I didn't even realise i wanted this until i watched it.
Honestly you guys are absolutely bloody brilliant! The serious parts are serious; the silly parts are silly, and everything blends and moves together so perfectly and beautifully. And all done in a unique and creative way. Proper talent is what this is. Can't wait for the new album. I'll be watching the bloody grass grow in the meantime. Cheers! 🤘
I'm hearing influences from several bands but these guys are imitating no one. 10 points for that alone!
I've been busy playing this song on repeat, which is even busier than a cat buring shit on concrete.

Love how you guys don't take yourselves too seriously. You seem to really have fun doing what you do and that energy really bleeds through into your music. Really gives an authentic feel while conveying the thought and effort you put into it. In short, you guys are awesome!
It’s like a commercial Mr Bungle. I dig it
My greatest influences have always been korn, tool, system of a down, etc. Tweleve foot ninja is now definitely one of my all time favorite bands. Love the changes in genre. You guys are amazing!
Thanks Levi 🤟

This song gave me strength when I was recovering in hospital. Thanks for being awesome xx
That's awesome man
Well, you have been busy!
This gives me Faith No More vibes, can't believe I've only just found such an amazing band, and across the ditch at that
Exactly what I was thinking, a hard ass version of faith no more!
I thought they sound like a more mature Mr Bungle and Korn, and HED PE, and Trey Parker lol
I’ve always felt the same way! Brings back that faith no more mr. bungle sound
I’m happy that I’m not the only one who thinks that too
@@CaukyAsian You are correct. There is no faith no more according to stevic. They're massive mr bungle fans though.
I was today years old when I noticed the bass on the "serious" side is a Warwick. I've been playing one of those for almost 20 years now, and I still get excited to see them in the wild! And it helps when it's at the hands of one of my very favorite bands. Rock on, djentlemen.
The first time i saw this I thought the beginning was kind of a random joke, but they are commenting on how people seem to evaluate each other and themselves based on busy-ness and productivity and 'the sound of one hand clapping' is a Zen thing which is basically the antithesis to the hyper-productivity mindset. Brilliant!
I love the Faith no More vibe updated to nowadays metal standards.
Congrats to the band.
Glad to know I wasn't the only one to pick up on major Mike Patton vibes
Exactly what I was thinking. I wonder if Patton would "parody" them like he did RHCP for "stealing" his vibe back in the day? XD
I love how these guys give zero fuchs about image and know how to have fun and create massive tunes!!
I'm so glad my first time listening to this band was live. They absolutely floored me and after their performance was over I was hooked. Album and shirt in hand
It is often said that there is a thin line between madness and genius.
That in mind, these are absolute madlads!
Cheers, guys!
I've been so busy that this is my first time hearing Twelve Foot Ninja.

Let’s Chuck some Primus in there too
Don't forget the Korn groove
Add a little Limp Bizkit Gold Cobra riffage for good measure

[Intro]
Now put your money
Where your mouth is
You have the method
But will you move mountains?
This has become quite a vehicle
With no room for aggrandized egos
You have adapted to the role
Your portrayal betrays your soul
Wherever you may go
May your heart remain your home
[Verse 1]
I can see the sequence
Trans-human influence
I maintain observance
Focused on radiance
You remain in silence
Language omniscient
I renounce the violence
Devoid of intelligence
[Chorus]
They backed you into the corner
Provoked your will
From the brink
Your return to them stronger
Hear it when you’re willing
The sound of one hand killing
[Post-Chorus]
You are being hunted
Subject to summoning a landslide
You have adultered the altar
Of a faceless
Serpentine-coil of a riddle
As you can imagine
They are pulling every last stop
You will not falter
You offer to the people consistently
Caught in the middle
[Bridge]
I’ll send for you
When the coast is clear
(How long will I be waiting, waiting)(x2)
Climbing up to the top
Gonna meet you there
(How long will I be waiting, waiting)(x2)
For you!!
[Verse 2]
Up on your feet
Darling dear
May the gods guide you right back here
Without you here
It’s not home
May you find what you’re looking for
An inner peace
The infinite
May it burn through your deepest fear
Without punch
There’s no show
May you hold them accountable
[Chorus](x2)
They backed you into the corner
Provoked your will
From the brink
Your return to them stronger
Hear it when you’re willing
The sound of one hand killing
ohh - One hand killing, as opposed to the sound of one hand clapping.
Good on you, mate
Thank you

Perhaps the nastiest, heaviest riff ever recorded. Absolute face melting stuff.
