I’m literally fat and I can understand that some people aren’t interested in me and that it’s just a preference. I really want people to know that a lot of fat people like myself aren’t like this girl.
No worries, I’m thinking most ppl in general are NOT like this girl- body type aside!! She’s just an attention-seeking, over dramatizing, & ridiculous human being who is making excuses for herself by projecting & blaming others. She is spewing a whole lot of nonsense & it has nothing to do w being overweight. All ppl have things about themselves they don’t like. But we don’t make videos about them saying that others are judging us for those flaws…no, that’s exactly what YOURE doing to yourself. Well this girl is anyway! God bless! ☺️
They turned don't be fatphobic, which would be like being an ass to someone for being fat just because you feel like it, which is something id be in support of into "If you don't have sex with me or date me your fatphobic"
🙄💯 TikTok clowns are, legit, one of the most ignorant clout chasers the globe's ever seen! tbh I'm thankful nobody's ever seen my name and face embarrassing myself by spreading ignorant gossip like this! As an overweight person reacting to these videos, I couldn't be any more baffled and embarrassed!
I'm fat. But I'll go out on a limb and say that if someone doesn't want to date this chick, it's because she's a horrible, tedious, condescending, elitist person and not because of her weight. I'm happily married 26 years now.
yep agree, I am not really attracted to overweight people, but met two women who were, but took my heart haha, they were super sweet people and the weight issue, was no longer an issue.
I’m a fat dude, and I’ve been told that I’m not attractive because of my weight. Honestly? That’s totally valid. I worked my way to fatness with beer and hot wings. Now, I’m in a happy relationship with somebody who finds me attractive. Furthermore, I’m losing weight so I can live longer and be more fit.
I'm very glad that you found somebody that loves you 4 you. And I say congrats and gudd luck with your weight loss journey. I, too used to think that I wasn't attractive because I was overweight. I thought that in order to be loved by any guy, I had to be skinny even at a young age. I don't feel that way anymore and I'm glad that u don't either. I've lost alot of weight and I feel more confident in myself as well. I don't know how long you've been 2gether or soo becuz it's none of my business, but I wish yall a long and happy life 2gether!! ^v^
@@leshaax94 Update, a year later, we are no longer together. I developed subacute degeneration of the spinal chord, was paralyzed for months, treated my condition successfully using my own knowledge of biochemistry, went from 290lb to 220lb by means of appetite suppressants, and found out that a woman I’ve been talking to for years is the love of my life. She’s moving in with me in a year, and I couldn’t be more blessed.
Man, I am 100 lbs 5'3" and I was accused by some of my family members for being anorexic in middle school, and now I'm 32 and STILL to this day my family continues to point it out everytime they see me. The only person torturing me when I was fat was me, the only person to blame was me, then only person that fixed it was me, the only person who projected self hate was me. The only person living my BEST life now is ME!!

Agreed. I recently lost 125lbs. I did it for me. It was my fault for letting myself go and I was me who got healthy and I did it for me and no one else.
Body shaming is a real thing, it applies to being overweight AND underweight; muscular vs skinny, men and women. Height, etc. These women seem to be actually promoting their own problems. They aren't helping anybody and least of all, themselves.
If you're grossly overweight and happy with yourself, I'm happy for you. Just don't demonize people like me that don't find attraction in a woman who weighs twice what we do.
I was overweight for a couple years which made my heart condition more severe. I’ve lost 40 pounds which has helped me IMMENSELY with recovering and healing from my condition. Wanting better for yourself is not “fat phobic”.
Again I will say, I find the people that promote "fat acceptance" cannot simply just accept preference, and are super closed minded. And no I'm not "fatphobic".
I'm an ER RN and last year a patient tried suing me for discrimination, for fat shaming, all because I tried explaining that his knee problems were from his 480+ weight. While discussing what he could personally do to help ease the pain his weight was of topic. Of course, he was actually upset bc our hospital wouldn't just give him more narcotics. Needless to say it was thrown out.
They hate within eachother, and forget when one of them starts losing weight successfully! They get massive hate from the people who are "fat/body positive", the people who supported them before turn on them once they start doing what they wish they could all that love and support is taken away and turned into hate
Girl at 7:30 knows a boy just died on a ride for being too fat right? It's for safety reasons, that boy would I'm sure rather be embarrassed instead of dead.
I was 233 pounds and went down to 165 after a year and a half and being diagnosed as diabetic. I guess I should have embraced my obesity and lived with ever worsening diabetes and raising blood pressure (it hit 210 over 110 at one point), and just died free, instead of just being a fat self-hater who feels ten times better physically.
I'm sort of sick of the "-phobics" in todays society. Far too overused. I have an actual diagnosed phobia, and it isn't that "I have a horrible irrational fear of seeing overweight people". Having a true phobia is terrifying. You know it's irrational but it overwhelms you with a visceral, mental dread that leaves you shaken and miserable. But in today's society the meaning is bled out of the word. "Oh, you disagree with me, or my choices? Ahhh, you're AFRAID of me." ...no?
A phobia is an irrational fear- I'm just gonna say I have only met one person who is irrationally scared of obese individuals and that's just because she's super small and is scared of big things-
@@bombdotcom2168 Exactly. Mine leads to panic attacks, hyperventilation and loss of consciousness, but apparently just "oh noooo, someone has a different body type than me" means I get diagnosed with some nonsensical new phobia 🤣

I'm physically disabled, I weigh 140 lbs stand at 5'7" & I've lost 3 inches in height because my advanced scoliosis & degenerative bone disease is literally making me shorter. I had to buy my own wheelchair so I can go shopping with my hubs, I can't walk for long periods of time, 15 minutes would be long. Everytime I've gone to the store in hopes of getting one of those ride on electric carts, none are available EVER. The only people I ever see in them are FAT people, rarely an elderly person has one, they instead struggle with the shopping cart as their "walker". I don't have a motorized wheelchair, I prefer to use my upper body strength to make my way around the store. When at home I use my walker to get around because I'm not stable enough on my feet & can't risk another fall. So next time you go to a food store please take notice of who is using the electric carts ..... that's my rant. So fat people spare me your comments, you have control over what you eat, I've seen what's in your shopping carts.
If they're so culturally enriched for fat acceptance they probably have seen the 1000lbs sisters on TLC, true fat people, no disrespect. One of the sisters wanted to lose weight to have one child. And the other wanted to lose weight for better health but decided not to because she's not motivated enough to not die because she was being unhealthy.
Yeah but one of the sisters started dating a guy who was obsessed w/her being big & gaining weight so she’s still not doing good bc of ppl like in the videos smh

Ok, the person at 3:29 seconds that’s reacting to the possibility that science may be able to turn off or reduce the hunger hormone for people is absolutely amazing for folks who have hyper metabolism/metabolic conditions that revolve around an over production of the hunger hormone(including the possibility that it could aid in weight loss centralized goals as well as food additions and other possible applications). Additionally if science can figure out how to turn off or reduce the production of the hunger hormone then they equally could turn it back on or increase production of the hunger hormone thus making it possible for those who struggle to gain/keep weight to be able to eat more and retain at least some of what they need. Just because something is discovered because of one intended use doesn’t mean that at least in this case that it’s the only possible application said discovery can be used for.
Thank you!!! It's like the term "off label use" didn't exist. While I'm sure the weightless industry is paying for this research, it has legitimate standing for people with medical issues. I absolutely appreciate this science. I have a condition that causes my hormones to not work properly, my ghrelin and leptin have NEVER balanced properly. I can go weeks with no desire to eat and drop 20 lbs then I can eat non-stop for days and gain it back. This would be a godsend for me if they could flip those on and off like a switch.

All and all I just find this all very deeply saddening and frustrating because like most things in life things aren’t as clear cut/ cut and dry as it would appear on the surface.
I was thinking something like this too. And this science could definitely benefit people who suffer from conditions such as Prader-Willies (probably spelled wrong) syndrome where the sufferers cannot control their hunger and it can make managing their lives very difficult.

I'm currently overweight, and I've been underweight as well. I've been on both ends of the spectrum as far as weight goes. This shit is insane to me! These people will go to great lengths to demonize every single person and business that doesn't support them in overeating and not getting enough exercise. They are looking for any and every excuse to feel ok with killing themselves. They want so bad to seem empowered and strong, when they are literally proving the opposite by claiming victimization by any and everyone.
To me it looks like she wants other people to date her no matter what, you cannot force someone to be attracted to you that is actually disgusting and shows so much insecurity in your part which contradicts her point about her wanting everyone else to be ok with fat people, nobody by their own decision would want to be overweight because nothing healthy or good comes from it
it is more difficult for some to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight, keyword being "difficult" as opposed to "impossible/improbable". Folks like those presented here are prime examples of unnecessary people, who's absence would probably improve society. So coddled and entitled, imagine wanting to make obesity your personality because you're too lazy to change.
Someone should put 3 pictures of a dude side by side, one dude being really fit, the other being average & the other extremely obese & see which one she picks & then ask her why she didn't choose the other ones.
That would be very interesting ( based on her own preference) but a lot of what she states in her video has zero logic and her reasonings are beyond my comprehension. Just wish 'large people' would help themselves. Lots of people succeed and they they always say they feel much healthier, fitter, energetic, sleep better, fulfill much more in their lives because of it. There is only good things that can come of it but these people think society is against them. It is not true. I have friends of all shapes and sizes and most people do not discriminate against size. It is personality that makes people like you after all. What is on the inside is so much more important.
As someone who has thought themself too fat my entire life, thanks mom, I can identify with the fat ladies. I happen to have a thyroiditis disease that is trying to kill my thyroid gland and my metabolism. Unlike these women it didn't kill my personality. They need to stop looking at other people and blaming society. I had to learn weird foods not to eat, thank God, Kale is on my don't eat list. Sadly, foods I love like broccoli and cabbage are also on that list. Stop blaming others and figure out your own kale. It might be as simple as pushing away from the table. It's still my favorite exercise.
I just wanna say as someone who works out, it doesnt always make you LOSE weight. I went from 140 to 160 by muscle gain and weight loss and honestly have never felt better. @@memawknowsbest4978 just saying. I am ex PT and know you can do a lot of exercise per week but not on a 600 kcal per day diet! It's actually pretty sad. Being obese used to be a sign of wealth, because sugary and fatty foods were over priced. Now it's completely switched. Obesity is now the face of poverty... no not everybody who is poor is fat, and not everybody who is skinny has money to spend, but the percentage has gone up drastically. It's ok to love your body... but that should come with loving to better yourself, mind AND body. I myself am overweight and understand it's not healthy for me. Even though it's hard to get to where I wanna be, I'm not gonna stop and tell people they have to like me as I am or they're fat phobic 🤦🏼♀️

Serious question, did your parents decide when you were full and force you to finish your whole plate every time? I am pretty sure that is the reason I was so big as a kid I even remember getting spanked for not finishing my plate and it's not fair for a parent to tell a kid when they are full or not

People have preferences, what the hell is wrong about it ? By the way, I love you, Xenoshot. Skinny, fat, black, white, blue, I don't care. Anything you say is pure gold and I just love that.
Some people also just straight up don’t want to date fat people. I did it once. My ex was averaging 300lbs the entire 2.5 years we were together. He couldn’t keep up his stamina during sex for more than 5 minutes, he couldn’t fit on any rides when we went to amusement parks, he was too lazy to go on any waterslides because he thought he would pop the tubes or fly out the slides, he didn’t want to do shit but play video games and eat a shit ton of food. He’s the reason I’m just hitting overweight now. He made me a lazier person. And I have every RIGHT to have a bias against someone who’s that unmotivated to be healthier for the sake of our potential future children’s health and enjoyment of their own childhoods. They shouldn’t have a father who can’t get himself to do anything fun with them. If other people don’t mind this about their partner, good for them. But I have PLENTY of reasons to be biased and I’m not even a fatphobic person. My current partner’s just a bit less heavy than I am and we’re both a little chubby. It’s not much to desire a partner who has energy and has confidence in himself. And if you’re heavier than I am, at least have some kind of drive to keep yourself energetic and healthy like I have for fuck sakes. Being like this honestly just feels like shit. My siblings and I were fat for most of our life because my parents decided when we were full and were forced to eat everything on our plate every time and got punished when we didnt want to.... now I let my kids decide when they are full and don't care if they dont eat all of their food and they have always been normal in the weight category 👍
My mom was just like that except she did the opposite and would take our plates before we were done eating. She also got upset at us for eating snacks and tried to get my dad to put a lock on the pantry door. I turned out underweight because of it, and when I was given access to food without being limited to how much I could and couldn't eat I became overweight because in my mind I wasn't going to get any more food that day so I might as well eat as much as I could. Parents who pick and choose how much their kids eat shouldn't be parents. It causes unhealthy eating habits and even disorders and illnesses later on in life. For me it caused chronic acid reflux as a side effect of eating disorders.
Was a fat kid, got bullied and picked on for it. Complained to my parents and got golden advice. "If you dont like it, change it." Went on a diet, started weights, got into jogging, dropped over 100 pounds. People need to stop being so soft and weak, just handle the problem, whatever it is. If you want to be fat then go for it, but yes some will pick on you for it, if you were skinny as a toothpick people would also find something to pick on you for. Get over it, stoo being such a marshmallow. My last bit of advice is when you learn to not let it bother you, most bullies will stop doing it.
It's not even just the physical attraction, it's a character thing If you are fat you aren't taking care of yourself, or you're lazy, the list goes on of reasons why you're fat and NONE of which are things you want your partner to be A little chubby from medication, illness or whatever, yeah okay, but not obese! A little chubby can have many reasons but being FAT only has a few that all come down to your personal choices and ultimately your character And i'm fat myself, i really struggle to get my ass off the couch to do some exercising and yet i wouldn't date a fat chick for the reasons i just mentioned because even tho i guess i don't value myself as much as i should... I still have standards and as long as i'm in this situation i actively refuse to date anyone, if i'm not happy with myself how could i expect anyone else to be? Not to mention that letting yourself be accepted in this situation will seriously take its toll on your motivation and cut down your chances of changing. Also i wouldn't want someone to want me in this state because i have a serious issue with accepting people who damage themselves, which is precisely what i'm doing until i actively do my workouts and not just occasionally step on the treadmill. So long story short, there's a long list of reasons why one wouldn't want to date a fat person without it being about the weight itself AT ALL
Wow, lady really complaining that Universal or the like isn't going to accommodate EVERY body type. I've gone up and down as I've had children with very high risk pregnancies, so bed rest caused a lot of weight (I'm an Endomorph, so I work hard at keeping fit as possible) I've also been an aerobics instructor, body builder etc; I feel it's all in how you care for yourself. If you are overweight and just have the attitude "except me while I couch potato and eat fast food" IT SHOWS. If you are overweight but you are trying and working at health, it will show. One of my daughters takes after me. She stays updated with her doctor, tries long term ways to loooooose weight and has a realistic view on weight issues. Slowly but surely she is finding all the pieces that she needs to do to keep her weight down. It may take work..lots of work for life. But she doesn't want to just be excepted. She wants to be healthy and knows that for some it takes work . Example: She can not have milk products..she is both intolerant and allergic. So she does not eat it at all. She doesn't say "I should be able to have ice cream like everyone else" . She wants to be healthy thin and just healthy. WORK AT IT. DON'T BLAME OTHERS IF YOU DON'T.
I’ve been overweight a majority of my life and have been trying to lose weight a majority of my life. Not all overweight people want to lose weight. that’s their choice. i think a lot of this defensiveness and aggression comes from the way we’re treated. it spirals. after getting years of unsolicited weight loss advice from strangers and people who had no right, I was fed up. Nothing anyone else said worked for me. it had to be on my own terms. But overweight people should not take it as an insult that other overweight people want to lose the weight. losing weight can be done in a way that doesn’t require you to starve or hate yourself. i’m losing weight because i’m nourishing my body and being active. the weight loss just follows.
Race needs to stop being brought into everything! Also eating disorders are both ways! People who have a problem with eating no food and people who eat to much! It’s just about being healthy geez!
3:40 Honestly these people look pretty young, so I think it could be fair for them to feel like it's not their fault if they became fat as children under their parents' care. Being fat as a child makes it extremely difficult to lose weight if they go into adulthood still fat. I think I would be pretty resentful about it too. I don't see it any differently than a parent who harmed their child with second-hand smoke. But now they're adults and they need to deal with it, and that sucks but it is was it is.
Well said, I was skinny-fat-skinny-fat as a kid but as an adult I did the work to drop the weight to get back into a normal BMI. was never as big as these people but the work you need to do is the same regardless, just some need more time to get where they want. They are probably mad other people their age are skinny or average sized but they aren't and they feel like that's just the way they are and will always be or "are ment to be" as some say and that they can't change it, because they don't want to do the work and be consistent and would rather everyone else also become big or be sexualy+romanticly interested in them...when everyone has different people they like and they can't chose who they are attracted to
I'm still in my teens and my weight has always been a big insecurity of mine. I almost never got to eat growing up so I was underweight by the time I left my parent's house and moved in with my Nana, and when I had free access to food all the time I became a little overweight because I didn't know when to stop eating, so now I'm working to get more in shape and be healthier by taking up martial arts and going out more for walks and jogs. You still have the choice to be active despite the kinds of foods you're fed as a kid and what you can and can't afford when you're growing up. As the TH-camr Ailurus said, "It costs effort to make a change, but being a victim is free."
just like you can’t change what gender you are attracted to, you can’t really change what body type you find attractive. there are also people who aren’t attracted to certain races. its not because they completely hate these people, it’s because they just personally can’t see themselves with these people, at least not in a romantic or seggsual way. you can also find people attractive and not want to date them. having the mindset of “you don’t want date me so you hate me” just doesn’t make any sense. with that logic it means i hate my brother, which i don’t even though he pisses me off sometimes.
I want to see this same energy when women say they aren’t attracted to short men 🙄 we can all pretend that these perfect people only preference is personality but let’s be honest I’m not laying down with someone I’m not physically attracted to that would be a violation to myself because I would not be into it! No one should be made to feel pressured into dating which would then mean your giving up your body to a person your not physically attracted to and doesn’t turn you on!
I never understood the fascination with height. Like, who cares how tall a person is? I’ve never needed anything from a tall guy that a short guy couldn’t also give me. People are just weird.
Love the video! But some people are getting it twisted. The problem isn't that people are fat or thin, it is that some bigger people criticised others for exercising. And they don't always feed into fitness culture and costly weight loss products. I actually think gastric band surgery is not the best or healthiest way to loose weight, because you know, nutrients are a thing. However if it is a life saving intervention then I'm for it. Sometimes people just run (free), I follow Heather Robertson she has free video programs that require little or no equipment, some eat more vegetables (cheap and more fibre which is good for your digestive system ) and the byproduct is that they loose fat. They are now being attacked for being fat phobic. It's so strange to me that in any situation someone is being attacked. Let fat people be fat and thin people be thin and mind tour own fing business guys
Being overweight has absolutely nothing to do with your race, people have the right to date whoever they want. It's so sad that they want to blame everyone else for the situation they put themselves in. I'm a big girl but damn ladies, 250 or more pounds is you destroying yourself with no one else to blame.
This whole “phobia” shit is ABSURD. Transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, etc etc. Phobia literally means an irrational fear of something. Like agoraphobia (fear of spiders) Claustrophobia (fear of confined spaces) I am not aware of anyone that has an irrational fear of gay people, or of trans people, fat phobia. The word has lost all meaning.
I get where you're coming from but based on another comment thread here I'd just like to point out that xenophobia and homophobia are two words I think do have accurate uses. I've certainly observed actions from homophobes that indicate there is an irrational fear that they can catch being gay. Or irrational fears of people from other countries because they're ignorant. I realize it's not medically the same or the most accurate, but I still think it's fair to say it's an irrational, ignorant fear that results in hate.

A phobia is an irrational fear-
I'm just gonna say I have only met one person who is irrationally scared of obese individuals and that's just because she's super small and is scared of big things-
@@bombdotcom2168 Exactly.

That any when you're poor it's kinda hard to afford healthy foods. And of course how much sugar and crap is put in processed food cause it's easy to sell.

Obesity was “a sign of wealth” back when gout was also a sign of wealth….like, 500 years ago. Obesity has been a sign of bad health since like 1812….LONG before the food trends you spoke of took heed. The BMI was developed in Belgium in the early 1900’s (that would be 1801-1900.) They do not correlate historically the way you claim. I’m sorry. Kings had gout long before the colonizers ever showed up on these shores. My ancestors are from here. Well, here is the thing - I don't find skinny people attractive. I prefer big guys.
And I just wanna know - are those ladies gonna call me out for being eeegh... "Skinnyphobic" ?
I don’t think my expectations are that high considering I even dated a fat guy to begin with lmao

The term "phobia" has lost it's meaning. I'm not attracted to fat women. Some people are, whatever, it has nothing to do with fear.
There is no accounting for taste.
As a fat guy i hate that we went from the funny ones to...this
My siblings and I were fat for most of our life because my parents decided when we were full and were forced to eat everything on our plate every time and got punished when we didnt want to.... now I let my kids decide when they are full and don't care if they dont eat all of their food and they have always been normal in the weight category 👍

Get over it, stoo being such a marshmallow.
My last bit of advice is when you learn to not let it bother you, most bullies will stop doing it.

It's not even just the physical attraction, it's a character thing
If you are fat you aren't taking care of yourself, or you're lazy, the list goes on of reasons why you're fat and NONE of which are things you want your partner to be
A little chubby from medication, illness or whatever, yeah okay, but not obese! A little chubby can have many reasons but being FAT only has a few that all come down to your personal choices and ultimately your character
And i'm fat myself, i really struggle to get my ass off the couch to do some exercising and yet i wouldn't date a fat chick for the reasons i just mentioned because even tho i guess i don't value myself as much as i should...
So long story short, there's a long list of reasons why one wouldn't want to date a fat person without it being about the weight itself AT ALL
It's so ironic that there are more videos form obese woman hating on people who are putting effort into being healthy, than the other way around.
If these people took the energy they put into defending their weight and put it into losing their weight their lives would be so much better.

I remember the days when fatphobic wasn't even a word and we could live in peace
Race needs to stop being brought into everything! Also eating disorders are both ways! People who have a problem with eating no food and people who eat to much! It’s just about being healthy geez!
All right Patrick, we get it you just wanted to share that you look like Patrick from SpongeBob 😎
