Space 1999 is an amazing show. I remember this show fondly. I was introduced to it by my dear departed friend Jim. He just had his earthly birthday the other day.
My Walmart didn’t have Alien Romulus or the Wild Robot in stock at all. They didn’t even have the price tag reserved for them in the new release section. Weird, even Amazon is sold out. I’ll wait I suppose.
I bought Never Let Go the other night! I went to high school with Halle Berry, and it's still funny to see her on the big screen....😀 I saw the End Of Obesity for under $13.00 in my area!
I got Romulus on steelbook but those Blu Ray and 4k slips look so nice. I like it when they do unique things to the slips to make them stand out and feel premium.
That is an amazing price for space 1999. I remember when it was at a crazy high price I believe over $100 per season at Borders years ago. Glad to see Buck Rogers on the shelves.
Fun facts: The creator/executive producer of Person of Interest is Christopher Nolan's younger brother, Jonathan Nolan. The brothers co-wrote together such films as The Prestige, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar. Person of Interest is a fantastic crime/drama/action with a sci-fi twist. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The show went on for 5 seasons; wished it was more. Oh yes, Bates Motel is such a great show as well. Grim is not too bad either.
This week I picked up alien Romulus 4k Blu-ray with the slip from local Walmart. And online I got Ashoka and the mandalorian season 3 4k Blu-ray steelbooks. And also once upon Deadpool on Blu-ray.
Hi Sue, I have GREAT news! The Family Stone is available to stream for free on TubiTV! That is a great movie! Thanks, for taking us all on your Walmart trip; it was fun! :)
Space 1999 was a very popular series when I was a kid but I don't remember if it was American or British. Buck Rogers was another popular series when I was growing up and it's kind of campy but very good. Good hunting and cool video Sue!👍
I’ll be getting the 4K for Alien Romulus as a Christmas present from my grandparents hopefully this year. Also if you didn’t know, Alien Romulus legit got a LIMITED EDITION VHS release!!!!!! How crazy huh!? It’s going on eBay for expensive prices which is bizarre. Also Disney’s first official VHS release since Cars which that tape came out in 2007
Buck Rodgers is a classic and it's been on my mind for years now but it's $55 @kino that's blu-ray but that one is likely dvd but half the price but does it have everything free to movie from TV that leads into the series which was only 2 seasons I believe. I love 80's movies and TV but I didn't realize Walmart had a selection like this.
Hello Susan! Were you able to tell if the House box set (9:15) was a blu-ray or dvd box set? Amazon showed that exact box set with the yellow and black as a DVD box set and not a blu-ray box set.
I smell change, not sure if it applies to the US but in the uk at the moment I’m seeing shops stock more dvds and blu rays for sale, seems people are now buying the films they may have got rid of a few years ago. Prices are creeping up.
While I love the fact that Walmart carries so many old tv shows, it annoys me that they only carry DVDs for a lot of shows that are also available on blu-ray, like Space:1999 and Babylon 5. If the Babylon 5 set is just the old DVDs then it's especially worthless, because those DVDs were crap!
Screw the 4K version. When I will buy that Alien Romulus movie (on a later date / not in a rush to buy it at the current price).. I will aim for that blu-ray with embossed face hugger (cover). 🤩
You've never heard Buck Rogers and the 25th century? It was early 80s. It endlessly in reruns back in the day. Never watched it but I at least heard of it. There's even been spoofs and a Looney Tunes take on it with Daffy Duck.
If that price is correct, 60 bucks for south park, then Walmart or paramount have completely lost their ever loving minds. You can get the first ten seasons in a box set for that price.
I need to have somebody teach you how to shop start shopping at thrift stores or pawn shops or if you have these in your area book off or there's my favorite a swap meet for real dvds $1 cheap $2 cheapsometimes dvds 4 for $1 most of my collection bought at these places now anyone who pays $60 for a movie YOU NEED YOUR HEAD EXAMED seriously
Yes! The "we're going in to Walmart" song is back! 😁
Space 1999 is an amazing show. I remember this show fondly. I was introduced to it by my dear departed friend Jim. He just had his earthly birthday the other day.
I'm so glad I got my copy of Alien Romulus and the slip cover on it is awesome
Anyone who is into 80’s cheez TV would love Buck Roger’s in the 25th Century. Was a really good show
Great show
I just bought that like 2 months ago.
@@mknightstalkerx It’s a good one to have in your collection for sure. Keep an eye out for Hawkman 🤣
Brings back memories.. especially Wilma!
Space 1999 was one of my favorite shows as a kid in the 70's! I have that box set!

The South Park DVD was the same price at my Wal Mart too.. I kind of wanted it before I saw the price. No way.
Love the artwork on Alien Romulus 👌👌
7:34 Yeah.. I am a big fan of The Last Kingdom tv show.. but I already got that in my collection 😁👍

I'm still waiting on some of the preorders from Amazon
Alien Romulus 4k looks interesting. That's a nice blu ray cover too.
Love your shopping videos, keep up!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The Bates Motel is incredible!
This week I picked up alien Romulus 4k Blu-ray with the slip from local Walmart. And online I got Ashoka and the mandalorian season 3 4k Blu-ray steelbooks. And also once upon Deadpool on Blu-ray.

It's also on Hulu and Disney Plus!
I just got alien romulus 4k, but tomorrow getting galaxy quest 4k tomorrow
Did anyone happen to notice Amazon's preorder price on Alien Romulus ?
I have all but one of God’s not Dead I need Watchmen Chapter II but I hate the fact there’s no slipcover… Nice Out & About!
Space 1999 is a classic 1970s series. Great stories and effects for its time. Its a British series. Worth a watch.

@bcc63 thanks for the information!🤙

Yes, I'm aware of the VHS release.

SPACE 1999 was on PBS tv in the 70's 😊
I watched it a little & yes I have that set. A little like STAR TREK but kinda borrowing.😄

Awesome video I picked up lot of stuff
Kinda floored at some of the classic shows you haven't heard of...I don't know why. I thought you'd have known about some of these
Buck Roger’s was my favourite show , next to Battle Star Galactica
Great upload massive inspiration to us smaller creators 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Hmm, does that Southpark dvd come with a year membership to Gold's Gym?
It should!
Yes.. the ,,Bates Motel'' show is quite good!
Hell on wheels is a great western TV series. I’ll be going to get that.
Susan...Space 1999 can be seen on Pluto TV
nice!
It's crazy that the South Park DVD is $60. Even with the awful exchange rate and 10% GST, I can import it for AUD $35.
Walmart fixed the price.
My target didn’t have the Steelbook for alien Romulus so I went to Walmart instead
$60 DVD.. That's like getting Hit n Da Head wit a Bat.. 😲🙄Not Here😂😂😂
Person of interest, awesome show.

Nope, never heard of it.
Sweet Susan

South Park was 60 bucks at my Walmart as well. It has to be a mistake.
What quality does a DVD has these days 576p...720p ?
I honestly don't know.
Think it's 480p.in America Australia it's 576p
South park is definitely mispriced. It's 26 on sale for 20 for the bluray on amazon
I loved Hell on Wheels
60 must be a mistake 😮oh dear
The South Park DVD is obviously mispriced...
$60 for a DVD hell no that's crazy.
Black Friday deals is probably why there is no stock
No, my walmart didn't have any black friday deals. First year ever and they never had any DVDs on sale for Black Friday. No video games either.
To my knowledge, Walmart didn't have any black friday sales for movies this year.
$60 for a dvd is crazy but if you look even the paw patrol is $30 and kid DVDs are usually only $10 what is Walmart doing

I don't need anyone to "teach" me anything thank you. I'm not buying physical media right now anyway.
