I think of this song more as Powder's goodbye rather than Jinx's (I know, the'yre the same person, but you get what I mean). The line that screams this the most is "How could I have let you down," obviously feels heavily connected to Powder's explosion and Vi's reaction to her mistake. This song paired with the camera slowly panning away from Powder as she transforms into Jinx is one of the greatest tv moments ever for me, this show is legendary and I'll treasure it forever.
I totally agree, but Powder was still inside Jinx, and she didn't really die until Silco died. So- I also see it as Poweder's goodbye, but not just from what happened in there past, but also as what happened with Silco, because Jinx found refuge with Silco after the incident. He was her last person to be dependent on, and Powder was always dependent. Jinx now has to be independent at least from what i picked up.

It's easy to see that as Jinx's song, her longing to be truly united / accepted by her sister, but you can also see it from Vi's perspective. Vi made Jinx, due to one mistake, the "what could have been," can refer to Vi's regret, thinking about how things could be different if she didn't "abandon" her.
She's actually one of the rare story tropes where she's the hero and the villain without being an anti-hero. Her character as a whole has so many layers and is probably one of the best written characters in existence. She's definitely my favorite character of all time.

Yet as the series shows, life is far more complicated than such overly simplistic binaries. Even the worst sociopaths nearly always started as innocents discarded and fucked over by a cruel world and Jinx and Silco are no exceptions. League of Legends players often forget the Zaunites are victims of Piltoverians` outdated ,Victorian-era idea of progress and neoliberal economic policies as much as they are villains.
Anything could have changed the final outcome. Powder could have stayed behind, and everyone could be fine. Marcus could have ignored it, but didn't. Silco could have just ignored powder but instead manifested jinx. Vi had a choice not to punch powder, but did it anyway. It was the *Base violence necessary for change*
live action is a terrible idea since it couldn't possibly compare to this masterpiece! I think it's time people recognize animation is a greater storytelling device than anything else!
Great Video! It's sad that the way Silco reacted near the end is forever going to be contrasted in Jinx's mind with how some people put her down when she was Powder making mistakes. Season 2 is going to be interesting. I wonder if Vi is going come to the conclusion that she might have to kill Jinx before Jinx causes more pain. To me, it seemed like she has already come to terms with "letting it happen" as long as she is not present. I see this when she is on the bridge with injured Caitlyn. She leaves and lets Ekko hold off Jinx, she had to of known that was a fight to the death. It will be interesting to see if she can come to the same conclusion without the imminent pressure and stress.
I agree with the "fight to the death" part. Especially when Vi hears the explosion at the end of the fight. She knew there was a strong possibility they may have both died. That's why she looked back and was tearing up.
@@radoou10 I, for one, hope Riot isn't afraid to kill off actual game characters once their story has been told as far as the lore is concerned. So far they've only killed off whole cloth creations unique to this series. They have unbridled freedom to imagine and write death scenes for some of the world's most famous and beloved fictional characters of the 21st century. I hope they do the right thing and close some stories like they did with Silco and Finn.

But he didn't make Jinx. You did." That was the last like that she has as Powder. From then on she was Jinx.
Okay I found when powder dies, it’s when she is listening to silco from behind vander’s statue when she still has shimmer in her bloodstream. When her eyes are disoriented, THEY TURN FROM PURPLE TO RED and her eyes were blue before she was given shimmer. OKAY I FIGURED IT OUT!!!
If we are not able to leave past back, we all can became Jinx, sometimes bad time make you bad because you think is the only way you can be, for not be hurted anymore, for cancel the ghost of your past, maybe be the villain make feel fail and mistake more easy to handle, maybe make us stronger, or maybe just make us became another person, the worst version of us, the monster inside. I can't see Jinx as a monster just as a lost soul, i hope they have a good end for her, serenity end.
I love the fact that they didn't just use the mpst popular champs. Of course they kinda had to put sylas and jarvan in but i loved the kled part its amazing. Kinda gappy that it's not darius but katarina and Xin Zhao or lebanc. Amazing video cool concept i love it ❤

The song is so good for me but a little disappointed cuz in the end it didn't blow up I mean the emotions, and I think it's mean that all gone what's the point the singer make it like there'snt any point but still i love if it blows up in anger or sadness
You don't get it. The song is perfect for this kind of emotional buildup, one from failure, losing your loved ones and yourself. It doesn't end on a bang but a whimper. It's just an overload of emotion that boils and then stays until you go numb and empty
How i wish this wonderful song would do something more at the end instead of just repeating same phrase, i get the buildup chills and then it all ends :(
It’s more like Powders goodbye song, Jinx is taking over. Especially when Jinx/Powder sits in the Jinx chair, Powder almost “officially” dies. Powder starts to fall apart ep.4 and episode 9 she is gone. It’s like when Vi is talking to Ekko, “She’s to far gone”. Also, Powder represents her happiness and her childhood, she loses that and sees a distorted reality haunting her. It shows a sad fade from Powder to Jinx, you see how Silco realised he messed up, but it’s to late, Powder dies when Jinx shoots Silco. Jinx also (in my opinion) loses her friendship with Vi because all Vi wants is Powder, but Powder is gone, Vi thinks that Powder is still in Jinx but that just hurts Jinx even more turning her into a worse, more tragic character.
