spring break + paris protests vlog (pt. 2)

part 2!
places we went/ things we saw: versailles, montmarte, sacre-couer, musee d'orsay, arc de triomphe, galarie lafayette, chateau fountainebleau, protests.
10:23 on the last day in this vlog, we were able to see first-hand a #parisprotest that took place on march 23rd. the subways were closed so we had to walk through the whole city to get back to our airbnb. it was a different side of humanity that i've never seen before. we saw small shops with broken windows (literally collateral damage), a restaurant owner put out a fire (fearing that his restaurant will burn down), and so much more. it's js crazy to think about how all of these people suffer despite not being associated with macron's pension plan. truly a life changing experience that i will never forget.
