my mom had pygmy goats - absolutely darling little animals! They're very entertaining! Enjoy!! 🥰 Glad you're feeling like you had a positive month. You were due!! & omg, the baby pics at the end - doesn't get any cuter than that! 💟Hugs.
Goats are the best! I've never bottle-fed one but did have two miniature goats for many years, so entertaining. It took me forever to figure out what you meant by "horse apparel", as American English pronounces apparel slightly differently. I love the English language lol. Always enjoy seeing your project progress. Lovely!
@angelabates1489 hi Angela, yes horse apparel. There are slight differences that I'm still learning. Sorry for the confusion 🤣 Goats are fun and hard work at the same time 😀
Georgie is so stinkin' cute. I'm getting a new kitten in a couple of weeks and I've been struggling for a name. Georgie is perfect! Your stitching is beautiful. I'm working on my first full coverage, all you can see is the green on top representing the roof. Can't wait to get to the good stuff.
@kathiepiscitello9196 I know right, but so worth it when you get to the main subject of stitching. Kittens are adorable. I had my two from 5 weeks. Long story, but they were bottle fed too xx
With all you have going on you still have finishes or close to it plus a baby goat to raise! You are amazing!!! I have 2 big projects i will be stitching now until next December, but I have that same chart It's About Time. I love it and think I need to dig it out and start it!!!
@harleyriderstitcher3951 yeah I know, as if I need anything else in my life right now lol. I want to get some more stitching done on it. I love that project 😀
It’s great to hear you’ve had such a good month both stitchy and otherwise. I love that you got a goat and I love that the explanation was that you were going to pick up a donkey as if that makes it make sense 🤪. He’s gorgeous. You’ll have lots of fun with him I’m sure! I think you might have to get a few more so he has friends though 😉. Then maybe you can start goat yoga as another business idea! Have a great Christmas.
Love georgie ❤, glad things are actually starting to come around for you it’s been a long haul. I don’t know how you’re still going I would be in the nearest psychiatric ward 😅. Have a lovely Christmas and get plenty of time to stitch x
So great to see you! Your projects are lovely! We know you've been an amazing help to that ungrateful and vengeful person. Good riddance to her! Have a wonderful couple of weeks♥♥
Good to see you looking more positive and happy. O my goodness George is adorable. I've never seen such a young goat♥️. I always wanted chickens, a goat and a pig lol. All I got is a dog lol. Wishing you a Happy Christmas and a happy, health prospouruse(crap spelling) 2025. Much love 🤗🇬🇧
@mrsmiggins6435 thank you lovely. He definitely wasn't planned, but he's definitely a great new addition. 😀 chickens is next on my list, but they won't be in the house lol xx
OMG Holly!!! Not what you expect when you tune into a Flosstube- “yeah, so I got a goat” 😂 what do your cats make of young master George? He is adorable. But keep your stitching well out of his way as I remember a goat chewing half an arm off my cardy once when I was little. Still don’t know why I stood there and let it 😂. Glad things are looking up for you on the business front- your hard work and perseverance are starting to pay off - yay xx
@amandalavelle2638 ha ha right! They aren't too bad. They tolerate him, but nothing crazy has happened yet. He keeps getting punched by the cats. He's a slow learner 🤣
OMGoodness George!!! 😍😍😍 What a sweetheart! Just love him. Glad to hear that there is an upswing in your personal news! About time things started going up for you. Stitching is awesome! So close to multiple finishes, yay! Take care and happy stitching. Give Georgie a big hug for me, he's such a doll
Hi Holly! A suggestion for managing the material on the Crossword project…I use the claw type hair clips to put over the rolled up material, like the one in your hair in this video. I also use smaller ones to clip material to the frame. 😀
Love the update! So glad you have some good news on the land and such. You deserve it! And George is precious. Listening to him bottle feed makes me giggle. So cute! Oh, one thing I think is missing on Autumn Jumble…is one more line of stitching needed under the 24? I think you mentioned that on a previous flosstube.
Fabulous video Holly, wonderful now that everything is falling into place. When you first showed your cutie pie goat I thought you were going to produce goats milk as you were into bread making. Will he live in the house all the time or just until he grows up? Your cross stitch is coming along great you have done a lot of stitching this month. I just finished mine Natures Wonder by luca s. Just doing a xmas one now and perhaps flowers in the new year. I love Henry VlII he will look stunning. x
@daisyrea7219 hey hun, I think he will end up being a hybrid like the cats...out with me on the yard in the day and then in at night xx I'm trying, had a lot to make up for. Looking forward to doing my next years wip go board! 😀
@nataliej2902 hi Natalie, they tolerate him. He is a lot, but he no longer goes bouncing up to them which in the past meant a swipe round the head. They are happy to sleep on the same sofa together, so it's not that bad at mo 🥰
Oh my word…a baby goat! You needed something else to do didn’t you? I just purchased my first CXC thread…it is so economical! Have you ever tried Royal Broidery floss? I think most of us have changed colours or floss or both on our Vivster flags…I am doing Canada. Take care! 🦉🎄🎅🏼🧑🏼🎄
Omg George is gorgeous glad things are settling down can i ask how do you start and end your floss on the full coverage on 1 over 1 full cross xxthankyou
@mandymoran7714 hi Mandy, sure. I actually start it by pulling a tail through from the back and stitching over it. When I end floss, I run it through the back about 20 stitches. 2 strands of floss, I start using the loop method. Xxx
Hi Holly, are you the lady that posts in the HAED group that you use CXC thread on 20 count fabric? If so, what shop do you prefer to buy your CXC threads from please. I remember thinking how nice your stitches lay on the 20 count fabric. I am also wondering if the CXC threads are colourfast and won't run when washing your project. Your projects look really nice. Thank you 🙂
@juliaperth hey, yes! That is me. So I buy off Ali Express till I have my own space and can buy them in bulk straight from the supplier. Wuxiyibo is the store I buy from. It is color fast and doesn't run. I've washed many projects 😀
@@hollythecrossstitchaddict83 thank you so much for your reply & which store you purchase from. I really like the idea of using one strand on 20 count. It is great to know the thread is colour fast too. 🙂
