    If I give permission to another user for a file on current user still getting permission denied error when I switch user and try accessing that file. May I know why? Kindly assist on this

      Check the ownership of the file. User and group ownership.

    Umask value for normal user 002
    For root user 022 ryt.

      its a global value, it doesn't differ for user to user. As i know.
