    Where will I find my social security number? Also is it ok to share my rp card picture?

    • @travexplorefinland
      @travexplorefinland  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, you need to apply for SSN with DVV after reaching Finland. No, RP card and SSN etc should not be shared anywhere except with govt authorities or bank login as it contains confidential information about your identity.

      @travexplorefinland  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, you can just mention the location as Turku and search for an apartment on rent. If you are looking for a shared one then there are many Facebook groups for that

    What if you allready have a capital to afford paying the rent?1 😊

      Ofcourse, that's what it should be. And if you have a second income in your home country, even better!

    You started your video with a bold statement...
    But you actually did a good job fulfilling the promise of your statement given the available short time. Well done.

    informative!, i just want to know, i have got admission to the University of Turku. I am applying for an apartment as early as possible. when I go to the application form, it requires the identification number. when I enter my passport number. it shows an error. what should I do? kindly guide me.

    • @travexplorefinland
      @travexplorefinland  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! By identification number, they mean to ask your Social Security Number (SSN), which can be applied for only after you reach Finland. Check this link dvv.fi/en/personal-identity-code
      You can contact your University for assistance on this.

    Hello
    Is there any points system like Sweden when you apply for an apartment or just go to these websites and get the apartment?
    What do you think it’s easy to get the apartment like availability?

    • @travexplorefinland
      @travexplorefinland  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! Apartments for rent in Finland are much in demand and get reserved very quickly. So if you have short listed some then reserve at least one of them for a visit and email/call Broker to inform about your choices. Broker's phone number is usually mentioned. They might be able to show you multiple apartments in one visit if available with the same broker.

    Can students rent these private apartments? or students must stay in student accommodation?

    • @travexplorefinland
      @travexplorefinland  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes of course they can. But student housing is cheaper. If they decide to share such private apartments then it can cost similar to student housing.

      PR is different from RP. Initially we only get RP on the basis of jobs or studies but we need to fulfill certain criteria to be eligible for PR. Check migri.fi for more info.

    I have two questions:
    1. If my sponsor's monthly income is 10,000 USD, how much money does he have to keep in his bank account before he sends me the money for living expenses to my bank account?
    2. I need your advice. I have received an offer letter from LAB University of Applied Sciences, Lahti, Finland. My tuition fee is 6400 euros for the first year. 4000 euros from the second year onwards.
    So my question is: When going to Finland, I should bring a backup with 5-6 months of expenses; after that, I have to pay my own expenses. So if I live in Helsinki, can I take my classes from Helsinki to Lahti? Also, if I live in Helsinki, can I pay my tuition fees by working part-time? My family can pay a maximum of 2000 euros for tuition fees (from the second year onward).
    Should I move forward?

      You can stay in Hyvinkää or Vantaa. Both have good connectivity to Hmak (for studies) and Helsinki (for jobs). And are also cheap in terms of rent as compared to Helsinki. In Vantaa also you'll be able to find Part Time Jobs but there will be more options in Helsinki.
