Amazing soundtrack This really felt like the very first *ultimate* victory over the walkers... I think Rick finally figured it out. You don't beat the walkers by just surviving. You beat them by bringing the fight to *them*. Take a stand...To live.
+Jamie Philips If only they did something like that in Season 2...Who am I kidding, who wants to see that god-forsaken farm again? Not me. Fuck that shit, I'm out.
Not just the walkers. The people too. Rick said it himself "The world's ours, and we know how to take it." He wasn't afraid of anything. There was finally time. Nothing in their way. Until Negan gave Rick "Something To Fear" again.
This theme may just be one of the greatest pieces of music to ever come from a TV show ever. It's such an epic build up in a fitting epic moment and then has the gentle ending of reflection after the battle was won. Perfect.
Was pretty amazing, Rick going out there single handily taking on no less than like 300 walkers himself for a good 3-4 minutes before any back up arrived and wearing nothing but basic pants and a weak thin shirt was pretty epic for sure, then them all joining in was impressive as well. I just wish to heck the show didn't make certain key drastic mistakes, I still have no reason why they'd kill Carl whatsoever, and now with this Henry thing it really does seem like there might be something to this they refuse to work with child or teen actors once they hit 18 for whatever reason, maybe they'd have to be paid more? I just don't know, but there us no logical reason whatsoever for Carl being written out, it objectively does not help or benefit the show, then to top that off they get the worse news that's out of there control ever with the most important character and series lead leaving early and have to write around that huge unfixable issue, then to top it off with there fricking lead series main character gone, writing carl out, and lacking ket favorites like Glen and Abraham, they then decide to write Jesus off early....horrible decision making man, but ah well no show lasts forever at least they had some great seasons, and its still a decent enough show, it will just never ever reach the level that well this episode did for example, never ever again, probably not even close in fact stakes wise.

I think 6x09 serves as a great final chapter, a great series finale. Imagine that this was the final episode of the series, every home they’ve been in up until this point has been lost either to the dead or to the living, they were driven out from the farm by the dead, and they were driven out of the prison by the living. But you see this time around with Alexandria that’s not the case, they’ve lost and lost and lost so much, but not this time around, the living tried to interfere and take all of there stuff, aka the bikers on the road, but they didn’t get far and Daryl ended them with a rocket launcher, the dead almost drove Rick and the group out of Alexandria but they didn’t this time around, they banded together and fought with Rick being the heart of that fight, and they won, and they saved there home, as Gabriel said God gave them the courage to save it themselves. And then it all connects perfectly with that final shot with Rick and Carl, with Rick saying that he saw what they could do, basically saying that even though the odds were stacked against them they still prevailed and we’re victorious. and that he wants to show Carl the new world. Then the final shot of Carl responding and gripping his fathers hand, and Rick looking with hope in his eyes for a true real fresh start at a better life. The end.
I agree with you. This episode could practically be it’s own zombie short film, and one of the best ones of all time at that. Easily one of the best short films/tv episodes of its decade.
@King Tyrone Sad to see my comment aged poorly. The golden age of TWD was arguably seasons 1-6; since then it's become a mixture of mediocre and plain bad. But yeah, in it's glory days, the show was pretty great.
I get teary a bit watching this scene with the music. Just knowing that everyone has made it soooo far, and now they fight their previously feared foes to take back their home!
not many words can describe this. beautiful is one word that comes to mind, uplifting, never giving up. coming together as one, strength. this song is incredible.
Just wanted to clear something up. Many of you know already that there are NO 'official' versions of Bear's tracks. A lot of people in the comments sections of many of my videos (not this one, however) are asking for 'official' or 'clean' versions of the tracks with no unwanted noises. If official versions existed, I would not waste time uploading unofficial versions. Another thing that people to tend to ask for is the official name of a track. Because of the lack of official tracks, all of the tracks have unofficial names (with the exception of a few of tracks from Season 1 and 2). I mean this in the least condescending way possible but don't you think that if they had official names, I would have called them that? This was just something I wanted to clear up. As I said, this doesn't apply to the comments of this video but I thought I'd post it here as it seems to be a popular video.
+B. Claimed You're the best B Claimed. Love your channel. Keep up the great work. Will be coming back again and again here to listen to the fantastic music of this show.
it's a real shame too that there aren't anymore official tracks up to today's season. I give you the biggest sincere thanks for posting these tracks, man! greatly appreciated!! this is by far yet another amazing beautiful track ever made by McCreary! kudos to him and much kudos to you for posting them all here! You're terrific!! :-)
+Jeffrey Dean Negan you're actually wrong about that, There is a demand for the OST but its under the network of operations control which is AMC and they won't give bear and his studio the green light for it. I'm sure they have their reasons for it and it sucks. Most if not all bear's ost's have been released from his prior works except this. If you want your voice heard for AMC to take notice go to the official facebook page for the petition and just hope for the best. I mean, honestly why wouldnt they want to milk more of TWD if they had the chance?
To me the growls of the walkers become an equal part of the music, like deanna's gunshot and distorted defiant scream in the mid season finale. Thank you so much for picking up AMC's slack and bring the epic beauty of Bears music to a very grateful audience. His score on Galactica still gives me goosebumps and Walking dead continues in that again and again
Season 6 episode 9 is my favorite of the whole series so far. Rick and everyone steps up to take Alexandria back. they got backed into a flight or fight situation and they kicked ass!!
the deep heartbeat in the bass really adds to feeling. it pulls you in until it feels like it's your own heart beating alongside it. truly a beautiful piece of music to go with such an intense scene
This is when Rick showed he’s the chosen one the one who will survive no matter what and in return will teach others to fight until their last breathe !
This whole scene is so. powerful. After everything the characters (and we the audience) have been through, seeing Rick walk out there and make a stand with the group made my heart stop. When I first saw it, paired with this score, for the first time in many seasons, I felt hope. I don't think I'm alone in that. I'm proud to be a fan of this masterpiece of a show. 21 days til Season 8. #RiseUp.
There are seven billion of human on earth (less if you count the survivors) the best way to erase zombie of the earth : killing them one by one ! I love so much that episode and that moment ! :3
i want to beat up those 29 people who gave dislikes for this.they must have a stone heart.well done brother.another tumb up for another good job of yours.
Currently the show is with smaller budget but at least the writting was good enough and kinda better than All out war in general also the blood and gore is back again something Fear TWD is done right is the explicit violence
This should replay when the whisperers use the herd to attack Alexandria and then Daryl, Michonne, Jesus, Gabriel, Negan, Anne, Jerry, Carol and Ezekiel( if he’s still alive by then) , Eugene , Rosita (if she’s still alive) Tara (if she’s still alive) and Henry all fight off walkers and whisperers
When Rick unbutton his hatchet strap in slow motion and close the door is one of the greatest shot in the whole show. Because you know he's going for it, no matter who comes helping.
If we only had the help of: Lori Tdog Merle Andrea Sam(from season 4) The 3 hostages that are probably alive that were "killed" with s4 sam Amy The Governor Shane The stranger that got devoured in the last episode of s4 Joe and the claimers Dave Tony Sean Randall Shumpert Martinez Bob Dale Ed Sophia Ana Reg Beth Jimmy Hershel Noah The New Worlds Gonna Need Rick Grimes.

It was the original ending planned for the comics, but they decided to keep going with it.
That was the ideal life that Negan told Rick about but it doesnt work like that and everything changed
2:28 Rick’s family is built solely on survivors who would do whatever it takes to protect one another
this music is unbelievably genius. instruments are diversified and it escalates to reach an amazing peak point, it pumps up the energy - great work.

At this point, TV can parallel mainstream film.
