This brings me back when I was 9-10 years old banging out yolanda adam albums; kevin bond is the g.o.a.t.
Lol i remember having my keyboard on my bed learning Yolanda’s The Battle is not yours hit. It was my first time playing in that key too. Sheesh, he brought me a mighty lone way. Lol 😂
@@micahsellers6638 Kevin was the only gospel producer on the radio that I didn't know the name of but I recognized his chords. He laid out his chords where I could hear and play it. His stuff is like standard now. Kevin Bond and Bruce Swedien really effected how I setup the matrix and bounce audio. Bruce Swedien clicked with me one day because I heard the word polarity, and "mid side" mixing. No one around me knew what those were at the time. I went to school for CSC; I ended up programming for Cakewalk DAW and making VST and DXi plugins (and producing and engineering albums). Good times.
