It was definitely an unusual find. We actually discovered it back in the early 90s for a New Year’s trip that we did on the panhandle and wanted to do a fish fry and ask where the best place to get fresh fish was. Joe Patti was the answer from every local we talked to!
True ^ My grandfather has been shrimping there for over 20 years and they no longer buy his shrimp because it’s cheaper for them to get it overseas. It’s a shame.
@@pk.adventuretravels No way thats true brother,I live two blocks from the place. There's one shrimp boat that sits beside the building and thats there for show,to fool all the tourists, been like that for many years.Nothing but imported pre frozen seafood there!
Pretty sweet! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching! It really is a cool place!
Very interesting! Not exactly like the markets in Boston, but I would have never thought to see such a place in Florida.

My favorite place
Ours too!!!
Been there, done that, ate many many things from there. 😊
It really is the best seafood we’ve ever purchased from a fish market!
Not unloading any fresh seafood off of any boats got all the tourist fooled.Shrimp is farmed raised.
There might be some truth to that all I know is we have been there many times when they were actually unloading fresh seafood from the boats.
