Same i was watching the direct and watching ng4 and I was happy about ninja gaiden staying alive and how plat games getting a stab at it since it hasnt been the same since OG 2 but it still didn't feel right and was saying I wish they kept the animation and style of 2. And then BOOM black 2! I'm getting it once I get home but I sure hope they fixed the difficulty and censorship problems for sigma

Anyone who is about to buy this, its not the original 360 version of NGII it's the sigma version, with everything that people hated removed like the boss statues, weapon upgrading returned. The game still has questionable AI, enemies are far more agro, but less in number, enemies take longer to dismember etc. If you enjoyed sigma " i didn't" then you should get this. I was really hoping it was gonna be like NG; Black, but this sadly isn't

@@tvrtkokaurinovic7370 sigma versions were made for playstation and they removed all the blood and guts for some reason. They also shoehorned a couple of clunky playable side character missions in which did no favours to the structure. The only true versions of these games worth playing are Ninja Gaiden Black on the OG Xbox, and Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360 (I can't speak on NGB2 as I've not downloaded it yet.)

So to summarize, we have Ninja Gaiden II on Xbox 360, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on PS3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus on PS Vita, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (Master Collection version) and now Ninja Gaiden 2 Black on Xbox Series X|S all of which are different. With this many versions it wouldn't suprise me at all if they made a compilation dedicated exclusively to all the different versions of Ninja Gaiden 2.
I was NOT expecting this to be so suddenly dropped like that! The best of the original three 3D games by far! I do wonder what the differences are between Black and Sigma though, other than the obvious graphical updates. Maybe frame rate too, but I think NG2 also had a really high frame rate if I remember right.
